almost every scene of this mv is a reference to BTS' past songs/mvs. its a giant emotional nostalgic trip. youre still baby army so you wont get the references. imagine how much you would of cried otherwise lol. I first listened to bts in 2014 and this song and mv had me sobbing my own river
They are closing their era by looking fondly at the past with all the references of props and costumes and actions of past MVs . I am 49 years old and I can´t believe it too. I was so nervous waiting for the release!! Not even in my teen years I experienced this. I was laughing at myself all nervous and then, when I saw de MV, I was sooo happy and excited. Loved the lyrics, their singing an the arrangements!! I cried just remembering all their journey. You've made it through your first comeback and it couldn't have happened at a better time with Festa coming up next. It's been about 4 years since I discovered the boys and I still feel like a baby ARMY at times. This song hit me and I can't imagine how debut and pre-debut ARMY felt as they watched the group struggle, overcome everything thrown at them and thrive on their own terms. They've asked us to trust them in the past in regards to their music and I do but it's still sad that one chapter closes but the entire world opens up with new things to see and do. Absolutely. I've been ARMY since 2015, and I had a lump in my throat through the whole video. But when I heard those waves, I just lost it because I knew what it meant. There message here..... it's the BEST one they've ever done. it's humble and it's also talking to the pressure of fading away as an artist as you get older. especially in kpop. as soon as you grow just a little older you are meant to look back at your youth and feel fear that you're not there anymore. but this is them saying, they go into the next chapter with so much happiness of that youth behind them. but thankful for those first years. it's such an emotional topic. wauw.

It feels like a goodbye song. At least for now. We all know they're going into the Korean army for 2 years, and they're going together. So I think this a love song for Army, and they're telling us even though they're going away for a while, they'll be back because they love music...and they love Army.

As a young ARMY you are not yet familiar with all of their songs and mvs so you may not recognize in this one the references to their old songs that shows the way they did to where they are today. You still felt the atmosphere of the song. When I first heard it I felt sad and at the same time happy. I guess nostalgia sometimes brings with it sadness about things that have been and gone and a thought of whether it really was better then and in the same breath there is the optimism and excitement for what awaits us. Its such a beautiful song; it absolutely touches me deeply. I am right there with you about not knowing whether Im happy or sad. I hear the words about them looking forward to the best and making a promise to us that they are not going away. But knowing that there is the military stuff up in the air, along with all the solo mix tapes coming up, hobi at lallopollza, it just seems like a lot of solo stuff, which worries me because Im new to Army and Im just not ready for them not to be 7. I love them so much though and just want the best for them and will always support them.

Damn I'm even crying watching your reaction vid 3 mths after the song was released. This song, when it dropped, instantly felt like a ''thankyou, we're so grateful, we have so many beautiful memories, but goodbye'' to me. All the clues were there. I even posted that on the MV the day it came out. Of course no one liked my opinion then lol. But then they announced their 'having a break' and (on their livestream) Namjoon mentioned that he already said everything he wanted to say on 'Yet to Come' and suddenly people who hadn't seen it before looked at the heartwrenching lyrics and tone of this song. You've made it through your first comeback and it couldn't have happened at a better time with Festa coming up next. It's been about 4 years since I discovered the boys and I still feel like a baby ARMY at times. This song hit me and I can't imagine how debut and pre-debut ARMY felt as they watched the group struggle, overcome everything thrown at them and thrive on their own terms. They've asked us to trust them in the past in regards to their music and I do but it's still sad that one chapter closes but the entire world opens up with new things to see and do. BTS are my once in a lifetime group and I'll happily walk beside them wherever the road leads. FYI you might need tissues for some of the songs on the album!

Absolutely. I've been ARMY since 2015, and I had a lump in my throat through the whole video. But when I heard those waves, I just lost it because I knew what it meant. I've watched them grow up and achieve their dreams over the years while overcoming so many obstacles, and I'm just so proud of them and love them so much.

There message here..... it's the BEST one they've ever done. it's humble and it's also talking to the pressure of fading away as an artist as you get older. especially in kpop. as soon as you grow just a little older you are meant to look back at your youth and feel fear that you're not there anymore. but this is them saying, they go into the next chapter with so much happiness of that youth behind them. but thankful for those first years. it's such an emotional topic. wauw.

As a young ARMY you are not yet familiar with all of their songs and mvs so you may not recognize in this one the references to their old songs that shows the way they did to where they are today. You still felt the atmosphere of the song. When I first heard it I felt sad and at the same time happy. I guess nostalgia sometimes brings with it sadness about things that have been and gone and a thought of whether it really was better then and in the same breath there is the optimism and excitement for what awaits us. Its such a beautiful song; it absolutely touches me deeply. I am right there with you about not knowing whether Im happy or sad. I hear the words about them looking forward to the best and making a promise to us that they are not going away. But knowing that there is the military stuff up in the air, along with all the solo mix tapes coming up, hobi at lallopollza, it just seems like a lot of solo stuff, which worries me because Im new to Army and Im just not ready for them not to be 7. I love them so much though and just want the best for them and will always support them.

Glad you liked this song. If you knew, this song has many references to their old songs/MV's. So to Armys who know all the meaning behind this, makes the song 3 times better. It is such a heart felt song. Almost every gesture and anything out side of the dessert scene, everything in this MV has a meaning. Damn I'm even crying watching your reaction vid 3 mths after the song was released. This song, when it dropped, instantly felt like a ''thankyou, we're so grateful, we have so many beautiful memories, but goodbye'' to me. All the clues were there. I even posted that on the MV the day it came out. Of course no one liked my opinion then lol. But then they announced their 'having a break' and (on their livestream) Namjoon mentioned that he already said everything he wanted to say on 'Yet to Come' and suddenly people who hadn't seen it before looked at the heartwrenching lyrics and tone of this song. And they saw it. I have been ARMY for years so maybe that's why I saw it straight away. Regardless, I am hoping, like all Armies out there, that their best truly is 'yet to come'.

I don’t think they’ve got near their peak yet. They’ve done amazingly and yet this song is on another level again. The bus at the end is the bus from their first MV “No More dream”, where their style was tougher. It’s a joyful thought that they might be incorporating some of that with a new style. Wait til you hear “Run BTS” from “Proof” and you’ll see what I mean.

Really love your travel in BTS world and your open minded experiences and honest emotions.
