It's designed to be worn as a tail - I don't know if the motion sensor would receive the proper input to trigger the movement when placed anywhere else, sorry.

I’m a huge cosplayer I love making costumes (sadly I can’t really do any of that because I don’t have money and I’m a kid still but maybe one day) so this is super cool in my opinion The idea that it actually moves is just amazing you can actually look like you have a tail and that is the coolest thing ever

And thus I have found a way to get a moving tail that doesn't involve stealing my uncles fishing rod and calling my friend over every time I wanna do a cosplay
So basically, if it were able to extend and/or be somewhat larger in general, you could probably do Ojiro's tail. *It's also perfect for wild wild pussycats cosplays.*

I like the pause version a lot! Seems much better since movement while walking seems more exaggerated/like swinging so it doesn’t utilize the robotic nature to the best ability

Costail been going ham on tbe advertisements. I remember someone making a tail out of foam and showing off the process and then suddenly costail popped up. anyone know if its the same person?
Costail has been developing this product for years now!! But tails are a common cosplay accessory, so of course there are lots of different kinds and lots of different ways to make them :)
