Another tip to applying fake nails is try to file the inside (with an electric file normal files dont fit in the fake nails) of the fake nail were you put the glue to have a better adhesion
I agree with that as well. It would help keep them on longer for sure. I came to this video hoping she would show that but I guess not 🤷🏻♀️

I heard using oil, washing up liquid and warm water helps. You put that all in a bowl and put your hand in for like 10 minutes and they should come off quick

I like to use gel to put press on nails on. I used glue for years but when I learned about using gel that was a total game changer. They last so much longer. No hate on the glue. I still use glue if I'm in a hurry and I don't feel like messing with gel cause it does take longer to apply them when using gel. Honestly glue and gel both have their advantages and disadvantages. Love your videos BTW. You are a great teacher and you do amazing nails.
how do you use gel instead with a pigmented color? does the light go through the press on? Or do you use the gel before you paint them?
Well I have always polished mine after the nail was cured on. I know the clear nails cures with no problem but I like the natural press on nails and I do have to cure those longer to get them to cure well. I have never tried the prepainted ones. I enjoy polishing my nails to much. You should try the gel method one day you may like it. I like to use poly gel the best because the nails don't slide around. I can tell you chose the sizes based on your nail beds but I hope you include extras because everyone’s nails are different.
All of my sets are custom to the person ordering. They give me their exact measurements or get a size kit prior to me making their set.

Something I find that really helps is using a nail primer as well ! After youve done every right before your about to add glue , apply primer to your natural nails and the inside of the press on and let it dry then apply glue ❤️ this will help them last a bit longer because they will have better adhesion
@@Nailsslayedbyval will definitely give that a try I use Mia secret primer and dehydrator but not inside the nail , I do etch the press on with my drill tho to take away shine 🥺
@@ilovenails1276 i was just thinking about how that might help them last longer, but they still dont last when you take away the shine from the press on and use dehydrator? Just asking so i dont do the extra steps.

Its all depending on your application you have to just make sure all of the oils are removed from your nail bed and you cant be rough with your nails even though at the end of this video im super rough and they dont come off. This set ended up lasting me over a week

Gorill glue tends to puff as it dries so idk of that would be effective
