When cranking the engine always keep your thumb on the same side as your fingers. Why? Because if the engine backfires it will break your thumb. I once saw this happen. This used to be widely known but times have changed. Not many people still crank big engines.
I've just bought my first Fordson Model F, its a 1919 model, what fuel is yours running on? I will be running on petrol kero... just have to do the restoration first

Yours seems to start easy and run well. The one Mr. Douglas had was a piece of crap.
