The new wheels have truly lifted the F from a weary unkempt machine into a patinated masterwork that would make any tractor fan have a double take, the fact that it drives better is a bonus and takes some load off the steering and front axle components. Super job.

Good to see the old iron still running.

I have 1922 and 1919 FORDSONs. I have never got the 22 running but it has been about 5 years since I drove the 1919 around the yard.

I always wondered what those hooks were for. Now I know. Thanks. Those old Fordsons were pretty common were I live back then. There were a lot of orchards here and they were used mostly to pull sprayers. Too bad the orchards are all gone and the Fordsons disappeared decades ago.

Interesting design with the rear wheel wedges. The hooks definitely help.

Always enjoy watching you doing things on and with your Fordson F. It turned out to be a great running machine that could go back to work if need be. A 2bottom plow, or a hay rake ( an older 4 bar) would be nice add-ons for it. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

Congratulations on obtaining a decent set of wheels, they make a huge improvement in the appearance of your F model.
Perhaps it may now be time to rectify the air washer system to working condition and install the small '' Gas for starting''
tank with associated fittings. You must be very pleased with your work on it since day one, well done and regards from Melbourne, Australia.

Yes, thank you. I will keep my eyes open for those parts you mentioned. I would like to find them someday.

The "new" wheels make the old Fordson look fresh. Nice job.
I have visit and subscribed to "Dug in's" youtube channel. I have enjoyed his Fordson videos as well. Thanks for posting this. I was wondering about the cement on the old wheels.

Where did the wasps come from. Always worried about touching anything that’s been sitting around. Great video!

The wasps had a nest behind the basketball back board which is right above where I was working. Ouch!!

@@AntiqueCarsandStuff Not fun at all, figured they were in a fender or wheel.

Hello! Boy, your Fordson sounds good! Question for you. Are you interested in parting with your old front wheels? With a lot of work I could switch out the rims for my tractor. It spent many years sitting in wet ground and the guide bands are deteriorated.
BTW: You said you’re “west”. How far west?? I’m in Missouri.

She does run pretty well! I'm out in Idaho ... but I'm keeping the wheels for the time being.
