Awesome story. Your faith and great doctors have gotten you this far. You are truly an inspiration. I also had an elective above the knee amputation related to pain and other issues. My situation was "fixed" through osseointegration. My faith played a huge role in how I have handled and continued to handle my situation. Keep strong young lady; your life story is just beginning.

@@onefootedphoenix ya that’s true! I have done a ton of oral meds and a ton of pt. I’m about to get a nerve block. And start ketamine soon! Is your crps pain gone after you chose to amputate?
@@Red-hawk1015 unfortunately no, I still have a lot of sensitivity issues in the residual limb that makes it pretty difficult to wear my prosthetic leg. It’s not an end all solution to amputate. You trade CRPS hell for phantom pain and the risk that it will continue to spread. Bisphosphinate infusions are currently what’s helping the most. I’ve been through A LOT of ketamine treatments. They weren’t covered by insurance, and the side effects were pretty awful. It helped calm down a flare at first, but eventually I built up a resistance to Ketamine and it wasn’t even giving me short lived partial relief. Ketamine saved my knee from needing to be amputated, but it didn’t put me into remission by any means. Right now I’m the closest to CRPS remission as I might ever get. Phantom pain, it sucks, but it’s not quite as intense as CRPS was. That’s saying a lot because the phantom pain I experience still requires me to be taking high powered medications in the afternoon/evening. Yet it is still better than the screaming CRPS that had me crying in the fetal position pretty much all the time. It’s still unknown if the pain will improve from what it is at now or not for me. However, I’m also the CRPS amputee who had the most severe case of CRPS prior to amputation as well with this team of doctors.

got hit riding where , on what kind of road , country road, gravel or asphalt or , highway or , straight part or bend or by junction, opposite lane road or two lane , and....reason ...old driver drunk or drug or and did they get caught fined loose licence, was there room on the side of road to go more to side to evade coming cars, did you look back and do that ...wonder if bikers should wear a armor on lower leg. strong moto cross boot maybe. l read biking in usa iis risky drivers dont like bikers or dont care. helmet or not. where were you on the road , side of lane or mid lane. also maybe trips should be avoided for smaller reasons like dinner dates. was it iwith a single guy or ...if has car...or maybe meet outside yourhome or, video music too loud...wide or narrow road, was he she meeting a car so less room. speeding , texting . talking on phone. sun in eyes. heavy rain fog on windows dark were you visible bright clothes. light
It was a young 25 year old lady. She was with a friend and didn't see me on the side of the intersection waiting to cross. It was in full daylight at like 5pm in the summer. This was in a large city, but, sometimes city drivers are super impatient and nuts! All the reports were done after the fact because nobody even thought to call the police at the scene. They just say she was a distracted driver but nothing else all that helpful. It was determined for insurance purposes that it definitely wasn't my fault because I had stopped at the stop sign before proceeding to go. The car had also stopped so I was like oh cool I can go and bam, she didn't see me and the car definitely won that fight. I appeared to be fine but was limping. My mission leaders had me go to an insta care who was pretty stupid and cast like my whole leg saying it was probably broken. Then they sent me to the ER nearby because I had hit my head and busted up my helmet a good bit. The whole thing was NOT handled very well at all by my mission leaders because the ER told me to go to a foot specialist if I still had pain in 3 to 5 days after resting and icing what was said to be a badly sprained ankle. Oh, I was hit out into a fast-moving four-lane highway but there was a small curb divider between the two directions of the road. It's honestly pretty amazing I wasn't hit again or run over by other cars. I remember blacking out, then coming too with a lot of adrenaline and the thought of I gotta get up out of the road or I'm gonna die. I was wearing a dark blue skit with a white and blue floral top. I also had bike shorts on under said skirt. Even though the whole situation wasn't handled well, I still love Jesus. It tempted me to walk away from the church I attend, but I couldn't walk away from all the promises I had made with God to follow him and to remain faithful. I did yes, spend a while pretty angry at God for all that had happened because I chose to want to voluntarily serve him. Yet, I also had gained true conversion to our amazing loving savior Jesus and I knew he could help me through anything, even the injustice of the accident and following amputation of my leg. So, I turned towards him, studied his words harder, prayed more, and attended worship services in the Sunday chappels and in the temples. He told me to have the faith to not be healed. He told me it's a good thing though that I believed that God could heal me and that it wasn't his will for me because the struggles of not being healed would make me a better person.
@@onefootedphoenix o youtube hiding my comments again l did answer again...or did l forget to click reply button after writing ... seems you were in front of her maybe in a blind point spot of windowpost . maybe she turned right but doubt it , you went streight l guess . did you land on the middle curb....did you look back to see if cars coming too close to you most dont l try to, and sverve away if need off road. this is a reason some ride against traffic to see that better but seem not recommended or can make more risks too . and should we avoid trips through high traffic if reason for trip is not big. and yea bikers try to get eye contact w drivers waiting to know if they see them. sometimes l wait and lets cars pass and go last over to be safer. or even on red if no cars coming.

I have crps in my right leg and my foot won’t work. I’m really scared
