    Ma'am please note, a topic was taught wrong. You said that water is used up by seeds in Flask A. But that's not the case. They are already getting water from the wet piece of wool. The level of water rises because oxygen was used up by the germinating seeds and so a partial vacuum was created in flask A. To occupy the space, water level showed a rise.

      In flask B there is still oxygen left from when the cork was placed and since dead seeds do not respire the oxygen remains there. this is what i think

    There is a mistake ma'am. Soda lime is not a mixture of Sodium Hydroxide and Calcium Hydroxide(Slaked Lime). It is a mixture of sodium hydroxide and Calcium oxide.

    Why there is slight increase in the level of water in the delivery tube of flask B ?. Please answer it's urgent. Please please please please please please please.

      That is because a partial vacuum is created in flask A since the germinating seeds use up the oxygen(gas) present in the flask for photosynthesis when there is light(in the daytime), so the air present in the flask soon gets depleted, forming a vacuum inside the flask A and therefore, causes decrease in pressure inside the tube connected to flask A *and* as a result the atmospheric pressure forces the liquid to rise up-(when you fill a syringe with liquid.demonstration of atmospheric pressure.)
