This keyboard seems like a nightmare to repair. Almost sent back the replacement I ordered for the client, but the palm rests are very expensive (for a good reason I guess). Thanks for the video, removing the plastic tabs and will attempt a double-sided 1mm tape and report back in a few days. Pozdrawiam ;)

Thank you for the video. This video was really helpful in showing how the notebook comes apart at the keyboard and main chassis. Not as accessible as other notebooks I’ve fixed. Without it, probably have broken it!!!

I used Gorilla Glue on a couple of broken tab points and Electrical Tape after. Put all original shields back with coffee wiped off first.

Panie magiku 12:25 co to za klej zwykły Poxipol 2 składnikowy? Czeka mnie wymiana klawiatury w takim Asusie.

Nie, to jest jakiś rodzaj żywicy, widać to później, wyciskam go z takiej strzykawki dwutłokowej. Niestety nie mam opakowania i nie pamiętam co to dokładnie było. Od poxipolu użyłem tylko tej podkładki do mieszania. Myślę, że poxipol też mógłby być, szczególnie w wersji elastycznej. Proszę zwrócić uwagę, że w sumie kleju nie daję za wiele, większą cześć klejenia zapewnia dwustronna taśma klejąca, dokładnie to jest dwustronna taśma do ekranów.

witam, czy musze uzywac tasmy? oraz czy moge uzyc kleju na goraco?

Trzeba próbować, choć obawiam się, że klej na gorąco będzie za mało.
Mimo, że użyłem taśmy dwustronnej do klejenia ekranów oraz po rogach dwuskładnikowego kleju na bazie żywicy z efektu nie do końca byłem zadowolony. Być może to nie wina klejenia a w ogóle zastępcza klawiatura nie była zbyt dobrze wykonana ale wyszło jak wyszło. Na filmie tego nie widać ale nie wszystkie klawisze równo wystawały i niektóre trzeba było mocniej naciskać żeby zadziałały, ot, chińszczyzna.

@@kubakrawczuk7450 Poxipol to raczej dobry klej, powinien się sprawdzić. Z folią trudno powiedzieć, zawsze to jakaś izolacja. Jak bardzo się zniszczyła podczas odklejania to można użyć jakiejkolwiek, choćby i z koszulki na dokumenty ale myślę, że i bez folii nie powinno się nic stać.
