They can't have physical shields because they "magically" took away the S3 shield and they can't fit SIX Size 2's in that space. It just doesn't fit. They didn't (as usual) think it through.
Becoming my go to channel for all things SC, all other channels just run through patch notes and then talk about them. I really like the way you actually go and Test the stuff in the notes, it must take ages bringing it all together, and the amount of ships/items that need testing. Hats off and please keep this format going. o7
Had my first Hauling mission in the RAFT. Loving it as always but the fuel nerf hit the poor thing hard >< I fell through the ladder while in motion, so I guess CIG did fuckall about the interior glitching while in flight as well... Sadness, awesome video tho as always :D

Missed the Starlancer MAX missing its MFD's. Also its spotlights. Also its still slower than larger, more massive ships for seemingly no obvious reason.
Also a small issue with the starlancer is the door panel from engineering to habs, is aligned wrong, i noted it before it's full release and it wasn't fixed.
I just don't understand how so much can break while they work on something entirely different. There just seems to be some sort of crosscutting dependency across everything that makes it nearly impossible for a human mind to comprehend the indirection. As an engineer, this really smells.
All is done in a huge graphical interfaces where each boxes contain many parameters and references to others assets. All is filled and created mostly manually. Just forgetting a tick or giving a wrong asset or value to something will elad to a bug.
Ive heard its SPITE, some devs were seen to comment ''those whiney ass ingrates can feck off'', there's a lot of hate toward backers, even CR was said to give the ''Wankers'' hand signal when reading the backers winges. Its also rumoured that the 4.0 lIVE patch is going to be an 3 week old build?..........Spite!
890 Jump also still has visarea issue with the cargo elevator when not close to it. You can see it render broken if not close like you were here in the video. Rear middle PDC on back of the 890J is also placed the wrong direction by default.
Additional bug for you Foxy for the Retaliator. With someone in the pilot seat, anyone using the turrets has offset firing - weapons do not shoot down the crosshair.
What is strange is the lack of consistency. They seemed to have solved this issue but a few ships/vehicle still have it. Maybe it is not s systemic solution but an individual tweeking to be done ship per ship.
I can't find it on the issue council as a bug report atm, I'm sure I've contributed to a report about it before though,. I might just be searching for it the wrong way Edit: Well I do find one marked as "fixed", and a newer one didn't get enough reports so got archieved
The 890 too hangar door turns black when you land on it. Also, can you please test PDCs? The bug where they won’t target things until you leave your seat is frustrating.

It seems to be tied to applying the space brake and using third-person cameras. Tapping F4 two times solves the problem quickly. Don't you love these "features?" ✌️
The problem with the Santokyay is the same gimbal lock issue the Khartual has had for years. You can toggle vtol on and off to fix it when the engines get stuck.
They still haven’t fixed the Polaris hangar with ships falling out of it in quantum. Seems to be an issue when you go across a shard because of server meshing. When you go through a shard, your vehicle falls out of your hangar.
Also Pisces C8X has bug that some of the skins/liveries do not work. Also Origin 100-series has problems with high FOV settings with MFD warning lights. I bet there is a ton more problems that just does not get noticed

This is exactly the type of bug where serious programmer would write an automated script for verifying the settings of all components of all ships for each version.
Do ships still fall out of other ships hangars? Examle Polaris carrying a Vulture the vulture falls out when changing server mesh. Wasnt the Retaliator a gold pass.....
did they fix lockon actually locking on for missiles for all ships older than a year? and increase range from 5k to the nose, to 10-15k for s1-2 missiles....

No it didn't, that's a UI bug on the gantry terminal. Before this patch, the nozzle was completely missing from the VLM and the fuel would never flow. Even if the docked ship doesn't pay, you can still manually open the nozzle and transfer fuel. You can also just vent fuel into space.
foxy please mention that the retaliator turrets are all broken! and u cant aim or target, its been like this for a couple patches, and it hasn't gotten enough votes in issue counsel, please u are the last hope!
Speaking of the redumber.... How the FK are you supposed to get components up and down the FKN LADDER. It is such a disappointing ship especially because of the nerf but not just that, the horrible scrambled egg design. Not only that, the ship loadout menu UI is still a FKN JOKE. IM PISSED! =)

As 4tonmike said, new ships definitely sell better and helps keep the revenue flowing in to pay the people who make the game.

Fantastic test! Starfarer being fixed for 4.0 was absolutely crutial and it's good that they managed to get it sorted.

re the Hawk, try setting off the EMP in your hangar. Just be sure you are up for a trip to Klescher!

You should check the polaris pdc there is something to why it doesnt shoot npc enemy's but works perfect on the 890 jump
