HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Lisa and Chad.. Truck turned out great.. Just by dropping the front I now like the 589. Just needs a really low visor and it will be even nicer.

Some day off into the future, the 589 will be retired and replaced with a new super aerodynamic model. And everyone will be crying that the classic 589 is going away. People will say that there won't be another truck like the 589. Same old song and dance with each new model. 😂

I’m sure it’s gonna look pretty good when y’all are done with it and semi casual only thing I definitely do not like about 589 is the dash they should have modernized something more like an old school look that would’ve been sweet
Chad, tell me you bought another new Peterbilt without telling me. LMFAO 🤣🤣 That one piece windshield needs a center divider with a nice form fitting visor. It looks so much better lowered. Very nice job.

Needs a flat glass windshield and grown up sized air cleaner cans. Feels like paccar knows their cust base wants an owner op rig but cant help themselves from making it share parts with other models and making it more aerodynamic. Owner ops already have plenty of options for aero trucks but want 389/W900 looks overo aero dynamics. Aero dynamics dont matter pulling a cattle pot or yellow oversized iron. Leave efficiency to the big carriers, we dont want it. I think the 589 would make a great looking dump truck but it doesnt replace large cars.

Some do. Some 389s do too. Some only have one functional stack.

Chad and Lisa I know they have to try and market that ugly 💩, so steering wheel holders will buy this 579(589). But there’s nothing attractive about it. Just buy a 579 and will be half the price

I have 3 W900L's left and when those are sold I will retire. I'm guessing that you drive your minivan to work and get in your company-owned automatic Volvo and enjoy it. Good for you.
