So she sacrificed this warrior in his prime and drank his blood. But I doubt it prevented Ragnarok. She screamed a lot, but I guess her anguish was justified. Felt bad about the warrior, though. Nevertheless, this is a good film.

Very strange. I don't get it.
Sacrifice to Gods of old.... she is obviously some priestess of the region for whatever clans exist in this area. She sees omens or symbols in nature which attribute to certain feelings or understandings of their people. There is clearly fighting going on between particular clans - she assumes the gods are not happy as she sees these omens - she sees only death, and makes a sacrifice to the Gods to favour her people or herself....
