This turned out so cute! I love how simple it is. Sometimes I need the reminder that white space is okay and you can totally embrace it and still have a really nice, decorative spread.
I love ducks! I collect them, and always include ducks on my bookshelf reading tracker - never thought to make it a monthly theme! Thank you Jess, your daily content this month is keeping things together! 🦆
Those ducks and bubbles are so cute. I love the idea of using a memo pad for headers. Especially if you are like me and working on learning how to make pretty hand-lettered titles.
Just bought a bullet journal for 2023 and had zero idea on what to do. Your videos have helped give me ideas and creativity to set up my journal. Thanks!
I've tried bullet journaling for the first time this past year, 2022, and got a lot of great ideas for 2023. This year, I'm getting a real bujo and have hopes of filling out the whole bujo, and maybe even a second one this coming year!
Your duckies are adorable! Dot markers for the win again, I love when I get to use them for art. I thought a mandala like design with them would look so cool. So now I am practicing the circles.
This is a fabulous theme! I’ve decided to have a separate book for work related tasks as I also find that I neglect my journal when work gets busy. So perhaps keeping my journal for my personal life will keep me motivated to stay on top of it. Happy new year!
Love ducks so cute. I just returned to work after 11 months off recovering from breast cancer and am getting used to typing 2022 and in a couple of weeks I’ll have to get used to 2023. Love what you make, always looks so beautiful. Enjoy summer Jashi, we’ve just had 25cm of snow here in Ottawa, snow was late this year we usually have it November to April. Mind you when I lived in Calgary we had snow the week before my birthday,I was born the end of August now that was weird 🤣
I found myself writing in my journal for 4 hours the other day but then I was trying to get a new gel pen and spilled coffee on both outside and inside of my journal I cryed a little bit 😪😪 but thank God I could find a new journal to start writing in again 😀📓🖋✔ has that ever happen to you . I had to watch one of your videos to help feel better and it worked so I wonted to say thank you ❤💜💖💗💞
Oh, I ❤this monthly theme. I love rubber ducks. Actually I have been collecting them for years. Probably I will need to do a similar thing one of the months ahead 😊❤
This set of pages is very close to how I setup mine. I like having my goals and monthly priorities right up front in the first pages. I also do a habit tracker in a single page list, but I also include in it self-care items, so my setup time is nearly zilch. The facing page is my daily gratitude log, which puts all my dailies on a single spread.
LOL!!!! this is hysterical! I create the rotating image displays at work and I love adding in a few random holidays (there are some truly funny ones out there!) last year I did National hot sauce day in January so I am totally making a spread with that in my first BUJO this year!!. Thank you for the amazing ideas!

@@JashiiCorrin I decided that I'll have a general yearly theme: animals! I picked all 12 months and I'm excited to do them! January will be penguin+snowflakes 🐧❄️
13:00 Regarding IG Reels. I don't think it means we're old if we don't like Reels. I think it means we recognize the difference between good and bad. I haven't seen content in Reels to make their viewing worth it. And you said it: short form. That's not enough time to make a point. Also, the type in those is mega-small. Reels are also temporary if they're not specifically saved. And most people who make them are vastly unskilled at creating watchable content in that format. All-in-all a terrible medium that IG just keeps throwing "features" at for the FOMO-folks. BTW: I really enjoy your videos and BuJo ideas; creative and beautiful. Thank you!
Haha I know it’s not really an age thing; we have people my age and much older totally crushing it with reels! I’m just using my I’m-an-old-lady-who-doesn’t-want-to-learn-new-things persona 😂 totally agree that it’s super annoying that IG seems to be constantly changing features, but I suppose I gotta “roll with the punches” or whatever 😄💜
Which bujo is this? I'm in love w the organized multi use multiple notebooks so I'm trying to follow along just be sure I don't deviate 😹 I love ur videos they are so informational♥️
@@JashiiCorrin ok great thank you 🥰 I've got my long term bujo set up and began my yearly bujo set up and working on my everyday one set up too ♥️ thank u for replying and making these videos 🙏🏽
A good question! But tricky to answer 😝 when I’m penning in and colouring in the spreads, I do all of that part at once, so it’s very easy to see how much time it took (I also film it so that makes it easier) 😝 with regards to the sketching, though, that happens over a couple of days in little bits of time. It’s also got time associated with thinking about how much space I need for things and thus the structure of the layouts etc 🤔 I would say combined though it wouldn’t have taken me longer than penning in the pages as a whole
I'm actually more of an Instagram person than Facebook. I'm on Instagram every couplenof day, but haven't been on Facebook in 7 years. so it'll be good to see you on there! I have a question about the washi tape/ line making. I've asked before about why you use some washi only once and others a couple of times, when you're creating sharp lines/ coloured boxes. but now inwant to know, how come you don't use it when you need to split the page along the vertical? so when you have two or more columns for separate things, why dont you put tape down the dividing line and just go straight across it, then peel it up after? im sorry if these questions seem strange or accusatory etc, but I just like knowing why people do things a certain way.
It’s a fair question! I typically only use the washi masking trick for boxes and lines of colour that I specifically want super crisp edges for 😊 normally that’s when I’m using a pen that’s a bit more saturated so it’s a bit more obvious if the edges are wobbly 😄 it’s also in part about how I’m holding the pen when I’m using it. When I do the washi masking trick, I’m normally “Scribbly colouring” and applying less pressure on the page. This means that I’m less likely to accidentally pull up the edge of the washi just from my pen movement (the washi I use for masking is typically less sticky so when I put it up I don’t run the risk of tearing the page). When I do the lines of colour like I did in this video, I’m normally applying more pressure when I try to keep the line width steady and the line straight, so more likely to accidentally pull up any masking washi if I used it 😄 hope that makes sense!
@@JashiiCorrin OK, thanks. It does make a kind of sense, that I understand. I just wasn't sure if there was a reason, when it would of seemed to be easier to put the tape down and just draw the lines straight across. Thanks for explaining it for me😁
A projects list is normally for general things that I want to get done which have multiple steps (e.g. putting out certain videos, releasing perks for my Team members 💪) while an actions list is specifically goals related and for very granular tasks 😄
