It's painful how this story can be found not only in El Salvador but throughout the rest of Latin America. You all did a wonderful job depicting the history of Latam. I loved the animation and the colors you chose-I'm glad I got to watch this!
I'm first gen Salvadoran-American so I grew up hearing stories about the war. My dad is from San Miguel and my mom from San Vicente so hearing both of their experiences, unfortunately, are not unique. Thank you for depicting this in such a gorgeous way that really does honor these and many other stories
Помнить нужно для того, чтобы не дать возможность захватить власть подлецам, негодяям и прочим отбросам общества. Потому что когда они её захватят и почувствуют свою безнаказанность, события, подобные El Mozote, будут повторяться.
Unfortunately, we are living in times when destructive weapons are more desirable and precious than human lives! I quote, "How could people do this to each other."
Wtf… es Mexico verdad? Jajaja soy mexicano y no me molesta, pero si me impresiona que nos vean así 😬…. No es del todo cierto lo que muestra el video… pero si estamos viviendo una realidad muy similar
I mean, Bukele is a cool guy, but all this "remembering the history" nonsense didn't stop them from electing him and giving him almost as much power as the government in this video. At the end of the day, there are wolves and there are sheep, and the sheep greatly outnumber the wolves. Humans are very, very easy to manipulate.
@@Adam-326 Bukele's judicial reform of 2021 forced to retire 170 judges including Jorge Guzman who was behind El Mozote case, and appointed those who support him. No suprise the case isn't going anywhere.
The point of the film is that a lot of people PREFER to bury the past when you should honor and understand it. Thats how guys like Bukele can get elected because he prays on your lack of history.
“It’s painful, but necessary not to forget our history so our people repeat the same mistakes all over again.”
Most African and European Americans have forgotten their roots and history.

A well made short about how somethings need to be remembered. Congrats to everyone involved and thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you thank you thank you. Animation is capable of indescribable emotion. Beautiful impactful film.
I had no idea about this history of El Salvador. What an impactful way to share this history and the memories of the people.
Wow. Amazing. Our history builds us and encourages us to move on. 🙏🏽I pray for peace for all that have been affected by war.

No it is not Mexico. This is about the civil war in El Salvador
@ ohhh I thought it was Mexico because of the cultural phenomenon of drug trafficking, as shown in Call of Duty
