Great video. It’s surprising how calming the drone footage was at the end. Just sitting and watching the machinery digging away. Can’t wait to see the build progress
I am glad you are showing us all that. And good that the builder lets your dad use the bobcat in the pit. Not many would do that. Looking forward tothe next video.
Man I love your videos dude love the construction and what you do and know I get to see how a barn with a manure pot get built and your showing it which is the best part
Really liked this video, enjoy watching large equipment work, see progress as it is happening. Drone footage was great. Also years down the road You will be able to go back and see the improvement s. Another great video. Thanks.
The drone footage was awesome. Finally can put in perspective the size of your farming operation....whats amazing is you, your dad and just a few employees can manage this 'small' operations....when its pretty darned good size
As a 600th Generation Lawn Mower Family we greatly admire your output and look forward to showing off our German Paterfamilias of generations of lawncare.
I love that because we noticed the bald tyres y’all are putting new ones on hehe! I love watching your videos and my al,pst 3yr old is absolutely loving watching the digging and the trucks, thankyou so much for letting us tag along, cannot wait to see how it all looks when finished :) love all the way from a small town in west Australia :)
As a custom manure hauler I see to many heifer barns with slatted floors that have manure that doesn't have near enough moisture and can hardly get pumped without first pumping water in. Make sure you can get rain water from the spouting into the pit if it would become necessary. I guess heifers dont "pee" enough and also you wont have any milkhouse water. Looks exciting though!
Great video Eric. Excavators are a lot of fun to jump in and dig. I remember my first time in a backhoe. I couldn’t keep that thing on grade for quite a while. I wasn’t doing finish work with it thankfully.
Didn't realize how red your subsoil is, don't seem to have many rocks, here in Iowa much blacker soil but way more rocks and some are huge! Nice work on excavator but it takes years to get as good as he is!
It’s amazing that you have all of your manure stored under the barn we have a 3.5 million gallon 2 cell lagoon so we can have storage all year But we are using a vac truck for our sand so all the sand goes in the lagoon to Great video Eric glad to see it’s coming on nicely wishing you safety for building to come
I have been folowing your Channel from the beginning and I'm happy to see how you're Farm has grown. also me and other people have learned a lot from you.
Gotta say man, I'm really enjoying all the videos lately. I know they take alot of time to edit and shoot but I watch every single one and get excited when I see the notification pop up on my phone that "10th Generation Dairyman just uploaded a new video". You're doing a great job and, being from PA and having a farmer for a grandfather, I appreciate what youre doing not only for the PA dairy industry but for farming in general around the country. I cant wait to see what this year holds for you guys. Much respect.
I can really appreciate that these videos are only filmed a few days before being posted much better than what some other TH-camrs do keep up the great work Eric
You are having way to much fun !!!you get to drive a big 4wheel drive tractor then a track hoe then a drone an a skid loader. There are a lot of young men that wish they could do part of what you do. Most just don't want the work that comes with the fun. Thanks for another great video!!!!!
Great awesome video Eric, dads back and looking around, and the digging starts . Fun fun , sad when the cows always leave , they are like family members, those front tires on the skid steer are wearing down fast , lol Eric needs more seat time in the excavator lol
Anyone else interested in a farm tour of the farm itself, equipment and maybe a nice drone show from above to kinda see how everything is, I think it would be pretty cool.
To save the dude keep hopping out of the skidsteer just attach the laser level receiver to the digger arm and check with a flat bucket, driver should be able to do the digging and depth gauging from the cab
Yeah one of those magnetic traffic-light style receivers would save the legs for sure, don't see them being used much though, I only know of two or three youtubers that have shown them.
The drone shots give you a much better understanding of how huge the excavation is - huge !
I’m glad you’re videoing during this big project. It will be nice to see the progress
Great video. It’s surprising how calming the drone footage was at the end. Just sitting and watching the machinery digging away. Can’t wait to see the build progress
Really cool watching the beginning stages of the construction project. THank you for including us in it.
I never thought I'd be excited to see a cow crap pit being dug but I am! Thanks for the video.
why is it so satisfying to watch dirt get dug? i love it. great vid👍
Thanks for keeping us updated on the New Barn project.
I am glad you are showing us all that. And good that the builder lets your dad use the bobcat in the pit. Not many would do that. Looking forward tothe next video.
If you need more backfill, you may consider digging a pond to for that extra dirt. Thanks for sharing your videos, looking forward to seeing the barn.
Man I love your videos dude love the construction and what you do and know I get to see how a barn with a manure pot get built and your showing it which is the best part
I've never seen a manure pit put in. It's very interesting how they keep measuring. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks Eric.
😊thanks for all the extra time you put into these videos…so well done!
I’m so glad you got to try out the bucket. I could tell you had a bad case of “equipment “ envy. Blessings to you and yours.
Really liked this video, enjoy watching large equipment work, see progress as it is happening. Drone footage was great. Also years down the road You will be able to go back and see the improvement s. Another great video. Thanks.

The new project is coming along nicely Eric. Looks like some fine brown/red dirt that your farm is standing on too 👌
Great variety of farm jobs/maintenance & construction. Excited to see more. Take care & stay safe. Cheers
Totally agree with a video every day. I am totally nerdding out over the changes going on at the farm. Great video Eric.
Super cool to see the progression Eric!
Great that yall can make these additions! Can't believe you wore out a tire in the new skidsteer.
I love that because we noticed the bald tyres y’all are putting new ones on hehe! It is exciting to see the progress in such a quick time. Thank you. Great job filming and editing Eric.
Thanks for bringing us along.
Love the drone footage of the whole farm. very cool
Erik, glad to see the weather didn’t hold you up. Your crew isn’t messing around as things are happening pretty fast.

Enjoy watching your farm work. You always have something to do. 😎
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🐄 Man!!!
So so so happy that you guys are able to get this project done so quickly! I hope all goes well.
Lots of little projects to keep you busy. Liked the overview of the farm from above. Good placement of the camera to get good shots.
I was waiting for them to find a 2 story house size bolder in the middle of that area. Because that's how the foothills roll from PA to VA.
Looks big. I love it. You did good running that excavator
You do a great job with filming. I really enjoy watching the farm life. It was not a few videos back how we got to meet your family.
Nice job with the sound over the drone footage! 👌🏻

It's the classic red clay of the east side piedmont of the Appalachians. We have lots of it down here in MD too.
I really like the drone footage this will be a great investment for your farm. Thank you for sharing the process with us all.

The separate close up audio track while in drone view made all the difference 🤩
Good to see construction. These changes, from what I understand, are gonna make your lives so much better.
Great video love the drone footage and you did awesome on the excavator a true Renaissance man
Enjoyed. Nice drone footage. You will enjoy the video of build when complete for historical purposes
They got a lot done in one day. That's cool that they let you use their excavator!
Always enjoy watching your projects.
Would love a rough idea of how much this or similar barn is going to cost. Awesome videos Eric.
Just keep reporting us about building barn!
Love your videos, you are doing great job!
Greets from Croatia!
The drone shots are nice!! You sure have a beautiful farm 🙋♀️😊
I have been folowing your Channel from the beginning and I'm happy to see how you're Farm has grown. also me and other people have learned a lot from you.
Thanks for sharing the build with us. Very interesting. Peace from SW Florida 🤗🤗!!
There is an unbelievable lack of stones in your soil. On my grandpa's dairy outside Delhi NY he used to say "there's two rocks for every dirt"
Same in walton!
@@bluefirevburen8386 My Uncle had a dairy on S. River Rd in Walton. Nice town.

01:38, 9th Gen sure has some urgency there 😉, man on a mission. Those diggers made small work of that pit in a day! Impressive.
Well they're not working for the government on the road so they don't have an incentive to milk the job lol
@@Andyisgodcky in the US road contracts have a set deadline/price (at least federally). but i get your point lol
A lot of people would say your videos are bed but me I’d say your videos have very good content and I watch them as soon as I get home from school

Wow you've really worn those front tires on the Kubota down in what seems like a short period of time!
That was me hired out to farms, 2 bottom pull type plowing the harrow was being phased out the disc and the couldapacker looked good when you're done.
The construction is exciting and it will be interesting to watch as it comes along.
Great footage. Have fun with the new build. God bless
