I was a young kid when whoever had their death car. had it on a flatbed. an was going around the country showing it off. I remember the car..but don't really know if it was the actual car they were killed in.. it came through my home town at that time I didn't know much about Bonnie an Clyde.
I seriously doubt the sawed off single shot shotgun was ever Clydes!! Frank Hamer must have needed money and made up that story about Clyde leaving that gun on the side of the road, Blanche was very thorough in her account of who had which guns in their a motel room down to how many B.A.R.'s Clyde had in his motel room and how many Buck and she had in their room and how many 1911'- .45's ACP's they had and there are the photos the gang took all over the U.S. and again no single shot shotguns? A few sawed off semi -automatic Browning shotguns but anyway I don't know this for a fact! but I feel very sure it was not part of Clyde's arsenal of firearms,,, but it is still a very nice collection of Texas memorabilia and that Spanish Conquistador helmet is very impressive!! Well nice collection and thank you for showing some of it, I was hoping it might have had one of The Twin Sisters used in The Alamo, I seen one of them babies in the Texas Rangers Museum about 1978 and I was about 9 years old and I still remember it!!! +Jerry Jocoy yeah that single shot just doesnt make sense i could see a sawed down double but a single shot what good is that in a day where you could have a 6 shot 4 inch hand gun or a 8 shot 1911 45 auto just doesnt make sense for them to have that gun when they had access to so many other better guns
they had more that just that trust me they were k own for carrying over 12 guns in every robbery also his brother participated in like 4 robberies but maybe or maybe not who knows foreal cuz I've seen the exact same type style and make of that gun pulled out the car they were shot in if u look up real old footage
I want a browning A5 shotgun, chopped down bonnie and Clyde style. .aka "whippet gun" like in the one picture. .finding one that's rough enough to make me not feel so bad by chopping it but in good enough condition to be reliable is the trouble ..either too nice and too pricey or too beat up to justify the price. .

It was the depths of the Great Depression. She was extremely lucky to have a waitress job due to knowing the family who owned the diner, then it closed. She sure didn't have to run off with a criminal, but she was in a slum community of a few thousand people with no jobs.
