As a Black Metal die hard and someone that heard Synthwave for the 1st time maybe 4-5 years ago and it literally changed my life, this is absolutely fucking amazing!! This could set a church on fire.
No shit, it’s fucking black metal. I think that’s what many people fail to realize and for whatever reason have a distaste for black metal. Then again, black metal is something you feel. Not something you just listen to.
I know this hypnotizing song for over 25 years now - and this is one of the most original cover-versions i have heard so far. BM goes Italo-Disco-Style ;-) I'm not sure but i guess Fenriz, who is a big Synthwave- and Klaus-Schulze-Ashra-Tempel-Tangerine-Dream-Fan, would love it. Excellent!

Huge synthwave fan, and love hearing renditions of metal through the filtered lens of synth. This reminds me of Pertubator, and the darkwave, horrorwave scene in general. The songs main static screamed darkness still retains here via the evil drones of darksynth. Cool job overall!

I'm really enjoying this. It works so well int his style, then again it's just a really, really good composition and would probably work in many if not most styles. I'd really love to hear Under a Funeral Moon in this style since I've always felt like the chorus to that song had a synth like dance beat to it.
