@@TripleMHimself Yes that does make sense. I guess the best case scenario is actually making your punches faster with the same power behind them, vs the illusion of faster hands by stopping prematurely upon just grazing the target. from a judges perspective , I guess it makes sense as they;d be scoring more points. But actual damage done is next to nil.
I am always behind with most things, so my favourite is the man from about a century ago, Jack Dempsey. In combat sports in general, it's probably Bas Rutten.
good point at 1:45 onward. I find that I ended up pulling my punches in my endeavour to be more "snappy"
