It's no new idea. We have had these outside kindergartens for way over 20 years here in Danmark. It reminds me how I/we played as kid (born in 61). We made our own bow and arrows, with our own knife. We built a lot of tree caves, in the trees and on the ground. Yeah, we got some minor wounds, once in a while, but the beauty with playing in the forest is that the soil is normally very soft. Beats playing on concrete or asphalt. These kids here in the video, just do what kids do: preparing to become an adult. EDIT: Just looked it up. These kindergartens can be traced back to 1952.
That was great to see,letting the kids discover themselves outdoors,and the fact they let them carve with knives and giving them that responsibility so early,im sure bar a few nicks and cuts these kids will grow up to be much better adults.
Haha, they are so adorable in their puffy little snowsuits. I love this idea. Children are precious and can use every opportunity to learn, have fun, and grow stronger with better skills. I think this is a fantastic and cheerful way to accomplish that at a very young age in a safe and positive manner. I'd definitely enroll my kiddo in something like this if it was available where I am. You know, if I had kids...😞😢
