- The TikTok shops got me and I caved to the cuteness that DIY book nooks are. I have seen them around for a while now and have always thought they were cool. I used to make miniatures with my father for his train tracks and loved doing them, so I figured this wouldn't be much different. I was right, it wasn't, and it's even more fun as an adult. Let's see how it turned out, shall we?

Ok, I feel better now. I, too, am trashing the cauldron. My bendy pieces won’t stay AT ALL and I broke one trying to figure it out. 🤣 Came to the internets to make sure I wasn’t missing something.
haha I watched so many people make them and none of them struggled. I glued my fingers together so many times and then just gave up. honestly, it was so large it didn't make sense anyway. So, you're in good company just scrapping it.🙂

@PagesandPens Love it! I had to laugh out though... my husband bought one similar to that a few weeks ago at the mall. He wanted to build it for me and then chickened out. A few days ago, my niece showed me one she completed, and now here's a video with you making it. I think I will bug him to build it. Love Amber's turtle! It's the world telling you that you need that book nook! I hope you can convince him to make it for you. It really is just about the coolest thing ever. I already ordered another to do! Amber's turtles were a HUGE hit at Christmas, everyone loved them, and the adults got bummed they weren't included in the count and started requesting them. lol As for the bloodwork-results are in, but I have no idea how to read them so I'm waiting on the doctor. I doubt it 's going to show very much. It's really just a hormone screen cause at my age...ya know, it's just good to check. Make sure these mood swings and headaches aren't something more than a life change.

The mood swings and headaches might be hormone related. I don't talk about it much, but I was "forced" into early menopause due to my cancer diagnosis. i just got this one. the wiring thing was a lil confusing for me with the whole 90 degree angle but i just did what i felt looked good. btw, great job on the book nook.

I did the same with my cauldron its in the bin in tiny broken pieces x
That thins was IMPOSSIBLE. Maybe soaking it in water would have helped? But there was no way I could get it to work.
Just bought this one i made the rose detective agency last that was laser cut like this one what i am going to when do this one i am going to use decal fixer this way i can stick the books down but move them if i need to

Fair. All I can say is that my Virgo, type A, way too self-critical self still really loved it. So...maybe give it a go.

It wasn't nearly as bad as it looked. Honestly, it was fun, but again, I have some experience with miniatures. :)
What kind of glue do you used?
