Tbf, the only friendly things he found in the castle and paintings were the pink bobombs, the few toads, the penguins, cameraman lakitu, and koopa the quick (I probably missed a few though)

My headcanon is that Luigi was the one who told Lakitu to film Mario so he could find out what his most recent adventure was like (he couldn't attend because he had to get some groceries)

the grocery store was underwater where that statue was, but before he went in, he wrote "L Is Real", along with his favorite number "2401" on the plaque of the statue. he then dived in to get the groceries, and went back to surface just after Mario's adventure with the groceries. thats the true L is Real lore. nothing actually creepy or mysterious. just Luigi expressing his love for himself and his favorite number and him having to get groceries underwater
Nah, he failed to collect the 121st star before it petrified from being used as power for so long (hence the internal plexus) and in failing so he wrote that he'll proudly take the L, and then proceeds to grab groceries
Maybe instead of a horror Mario 64 rom hack, we can get a super uplifting one about L being real.

I think that luigi and Mario's relationship is a really underappreciated part of the mario series. Mario clearly cares for luigi and wants him to stay safe and he protects him as much as he can, while Luigi looks up to him and is always there whenever he's in trouble. I genuinely hate the idea that Mario doesn't care for Luigi. They just show their love in different ways.
True! although there was that one scene in Mario tennis that low key bothered me as a child...
@@not_gustaf1399 the mainlines and spinoffs could be considered different canons. I believe shigeru Miyamoto eluded to the idea that the Mario cast are actors, with the spin offs being how they actually are. So maybe Mario is more of an asshole to Luigi outside of the mainline games. Honestly maybe I should have specified the super Mario series.
@@mageyplss Ive always just thought that they were trying to make the characters more competitive during the spin-offs and sports games, as seen in Mario strikers for example. Amplifying the characters' personalities. I think that in the main line series Mario and Luigi has a very wholesome relationship. This even carries over to other games like Luigi's Mansion when you can see Luigi cry tears of joy when seeing his brother is well.
@@not_gustaf1399 yeah, I can definitely see their competitive nature in the spin offs. Mario kart Wii was the only Mario game I played for most of my childhood and that opening made me think that Luigi was the villain of the series for an embarrassingly long amount of time. I still feel like the theory of spin offs and mainlines being separate canons explains why Mario and Bowser are so friendly in the spinoffs, as their acting would depend on them spending a lot of time with each other

Finally we found him. He was lost for so long. But we found him.
Here’s what you gotta do to unlock him, you need to firstly collect all stars in the game then you need to do 200 frame perfect jumps to get to Yoshi’s island which is hidden in the main castle map, after that you need to talk to each Yoshi their and do the quests that they give you then finally you’ll be rewarded with a special coin that you need too throw into the fountain to summon Luigi

How it can go is Luigi falls in the well and is sent to the mirror world, parallel of the Mushroom kingdom, it is dark and very gloomy. The residents are instead of toads, they are "Glassites" beings who are made of mirror shards and glass. Water ones are the first Luigi meets. The Mirror kingdom is threatened by spiritual enemies, "Gists" they have corrupted the well and want to doom the kingdoms beyond the Mushroom kingdom.
So Luigi goes off on his own, it's a puzzle style platformer.
Luigi can use abilities as well and he can unlock more. Like the power of the sun(fire) and moon(thunder), and maybe even wind or anything.
