Least stuff like bumpers and lights for pre-facelift D2s are a bit cheaper. Glad the widscreen sealed properly. That rust hole at the bottom of the screen would be giving me the heeby-jeebies though. That's why I want to get mine into a workshop so they can pull the old screen out, spend a bit of time sorting out anything that needs doing and then get a new screen fitted after it's been tidied up.
A quick question for you Derek looking back to when you changed the engine mounts what was the result afterwards as I have a vibration between circa 2000 and 2500 revs on acceleration and inclines as she is an automatic like yours.
There was an improvement for a while and then the gearbox mountings which I probably damaged doing the engine mountings kicked off. Vibration at the moment is quite bad at idle.
It’s a pity you didn’t get that rusted area on top of the near side A pillar welded up before you installed the new windscreen. I had to weld new patches into 5 areas around the windscreen on mine ,is as. dry as a witches tit now .

I did not realize it was that bad until the day. Anyway too late now!
