However, it and the American Federation do have political differences on how a reformed USA should be runned. The country is made up of the former states once known as Washington and Oregon. It's military is very strong and even does military trainings and operations with the American Federation and the Republic of Utah. It possess nuclear weapons. It's capital is Salem and it's biggest city is Seattle.
Republic of California - this country is wildly different than any of the other countries that came out of the former USA. It has a parliamentary system of government with both a President and a Prime Minister. It's territory is not only comprised the former state of California but also includes Nevada, all of Arizona that isn't owned by Texas, and Hawaii. It chose a path of economy and living rather than military might making it's cities extreamly tecnoligiclly advanced comparable to nations like Japan. Though, California has to bare the title as the weakest military of all the countries that came out of the USA. Despite this, has a pretty impressive defense army and chose to keep a few nukes for protection. Due to it having enemies on it's North and South Borders (Pacifica and Mexico), it, Texas, and the Dixie Federation chose to work together against them. It's capital is Sacramento and its biggest city is is Los Angeles.
Who would be the Boris Yeltsin of that timeline if Reagan is Gorbachev in your opinion?
You know there's already lore for this, right? It's called Red World.
Confederacy was built on racism. It banned abolition of slavery and wanted a slave empire of Latin America.

Fantasy, parody, or whatever this is terrifying.
A terrifying idea to even fathom. A little too close to home right now.
These videos are actually amazing, I fucking love each and every one of these. They're just so cool! I know it's not really my place to say this, but I genuinely think if Kaiser saw this, he would be incredibly proud. This is amazing!
The AI that was used to make this could be used by an oppressive future dictatorship to rewrite history in their favor.
Yeah, "future"
Surely the Americans are taught objective historical truths. You dont need AI to rewrite history buddy
This type of video could become a whole niche of what ifs
This is crazy. It's almost like a tape the was recorded for such an event but never used because it wasn't needed.
Five minutes later, he was killed in a sword fight on the roof of Federal Hall.
This is truly the first example of AI where I’ve been absolutely impressed
Imagine going back in time, with Kennedy making this speech, and playing it nationwide at the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Right to self determination is an interesting choice of words
when a third world country has a little bit too much right to self determination... you have to liberate them....
So who else did TH-cam recommend this amazingly on the nose video right after Trump won?
Me but I've seen this already
Dude, if this is AI-generated, you did a great job of presenting it as if it were something that really happened.
this is so well made, it feels like i’m watching a tape from an alternate reality. thanks
This is seriously underrated I must subscribe to this channel
This would honeslty be just that much better without the static and distortion.
Oh, absolutely so.
This is so heartbreaking, I see it as both realistic and not in many ways. Humility is not something American leaders are known for, but I've always dreaded the day when something so terrible and unexpected could happen to our nation that even they would have to grieve alongside the people. If ever America fell, for any reason, I'd hold my head down and cry, but I'd move on to the next nation and live on, forever a natural American citizen.
I feel like if any president was to have such humility, it would be Reagan though. Though it would take a lot for him to admit defeat
@@bonesyjonesy716 Humility isn’t an American quality in general. We are a prideful martial race, and to admit defeat is an act of utmost heresy.
I say without distain, of course. Every people has its flaws.
This is not something terrible lmao. The rest of the world would absolutely rejoice if the U.S falls
@@enterurnamehere27 get lost. The US has many allies and a lot of importance on a political level, you'll be rejoicing while the world scrambles to fill the power vacuum, and considering how history often plays out, whatever fills the vacuum will probably be worse.
This is terrifyingly accurate and scary. It creates a sense of emersion around a dystopia we can barely conceive. Great work.

Not to be a Z person, but I hope americans understood how it was just from one presidential address to loose your country and see it fall into the ashes of civil war, ecomical instability and frequent tries of a coup.
Beginning was very convincing but his mouth movements get worse as it goes on.
The reason the USSR dissolved was because of independence movements in “republics” that were former nations captured by the Russian Empire. This scenario doesn’t work with the USA. I could see if we lost the Cold War that we would be in deep recessions/depression and the government would be changed. There is no reason to dissolve.
I have a hard time believing that Reagan would ever do something like this, but great job
He was senile
Not until years after he left office, unlike the current resident who was senile before he took office.@@_blank-_
@@ngavadin1 Actually, so far, the only senile one is the man who worked with Russia to get into the White House, the same man on video footage so often mispronouncing words.
@@ItsMeFreemanCooper Yours is an opinion unsupported by facts, based only on feelings which are irrelevant without evidence to support them. After 8+ years, no credible supporting evidence has been provided to support your allegations, so if your going to assert untrue statements as factual, what does that make you? That's right, a LIAR. Unless that is, your referring to the current occupant of the White House who is stepping down from a presidency he should have never been in, who was already showing cognitive decline 4 years ago.
This could inspire a great 1980's alternate history
Going to the retirement home and showing this on the TV
THIS IS GOLD!!!! Don't delete this never
I love Red World and I love these style of videos. Keep it up!
This is actually a really cool video, even if it's scary to imagine. Could you do a video of FDR surrendering to Germany and Japan? It would also be a scary thought, but an interesting one.
You earned a sub, great job! :)

Alternate Universe be like: Gorbachev dissolves the Soviet Union (HOI4)
Kind of reminds me of the pilot episode of an old TV show called Sliders where people "slide" to alternate timelines of Earth. One of the first timelines they visit is where the US lost the Cold War and by 1995 has been reformed as a Stalinistic country.
Here before wendigoon makes a 2 hour buetiful video on this guy's series
The fake glitching is just annoying.
Why is the fake glitch so overdone with these "real" videos? I almost feel like the creators are always too young to have lived when there were interference issues like this, so they model it off of what they THINK older video would look like. If it wasn't for the glitching, I'd give this AI 5 stars
I assume it's done to hide the blemishes

@U.N.I.T731what ai?
This is the second timeI’ve seen this, but it just occurred to me that no President, Congress, nor the Supreme Court has the Constitutional authority to dissolve the USA.
Why do I feel this video has some deep lore on some game or on something IRL.

I remember this, saw it a week after they got the TV working again after the nukes.
I felt queasy watching this because of how haunting it is. It felt so real like it was ripped straight from an alternate universe. The fear of authoritarianism rising, the panic of the news and announcement hurting my patriotism. It felt so real for a second and while I commend the amazing work done I did hate every second of it lol.
Remember when he said we will fight an Alien Force?
It's very disturbing that theres an alternate universe where this is a real speech.

But my fellow Americans, it is my duty as your president to protect the interests of the people of our great country, and this decision will i hope do just that. That's what's missing from this speech. During moments like this, he would always mention Nancy and maybe George as well as include some small story to illustrate something he had said. Take his 1989 farewell address as a good example of the quintessential Reagan
AI's ability to mimic the voice and likeness of historical figures is surprisingly accurate, and eerie. This kinda makes me want to try making an alt history podcast using AI to voice some historical figures in it
reagan would legit do this if it meant more tax cuts for the rich

The random tv glitches were so fake and obnoxious
Apart from the moving lips when he isnt speaking, this is very well done.
Thank your for this insight into your timeline, John Titor.
If he actually did this, there would have been a crowd of angry Americans with guns in front of the white house before he even finished the speech
If the POTUS decided to do this, it would mean that Americans would be very weak. Because we all know the americans of our reality would choose nuclear war over defeat.
