For some reason I've read title as "The NERDS - Conquest Lore". Guess the morning coffee didn't hit yet. Conquest has nice minis. Good idea with round bases on movement trays (seems like AoS 3 could use some of that... need to find good trays for 32mm bases with as little as possible space between first and second row for my LRL Wardens). If my FLGS would carry Conquest I'd definitely get one of character minis to paint.
When I first started out with Conquest, I was debating whether to pick Hundred Kingdoms or Dweghom. Nords were not even considered. While browsing my local gamestore, I happened to glance upon the Huscarls and went "Who the hell are these badasses?" Played Nords ever since and still loving the Huscarls.
I find the idea of the lore being told from perspective of the tribe, their collective origin story and the other side from the point of view of their imperial overlords (if that's the right way to view the spires role).
I'm getting really interested in the game. Could you possibly do a series where you explain the rules with your figures and or show us your armies clashing. I loved your beast of chaos battle report.
Absolutely! In late August Para Bellum is dropping a 1.5 edition of their rules (reprinting them with FAQs and some rebalancing built in) so once that hits I’ll be doing all kinds of tutorials, explanations and so on :)

I can’t get enough conquests content TH-cam. Thanks for videos. Paint my starter box but I’m going to main the old dominion when that comes out. Spartan skeletons. Yes please.
Conquest content is really lacking on TH-cam and most everywhere. I really appreciate your content. P.s. My 100 Kingdoms army bundle arrives today. I want armies for all of the factions unfortunately.
It feels so weird to have a fantasy setting where so much work was put into putting original spins on the classic Tolkien tropes... and then still import the world's most generic Norse stereotypes, complete with the literal same gods as the ones in real life. Like, the 'twists' described in the video do nothing to make me think they're anything but boring viking stereotypes.
Nords are fine, but c'mon. The Wardhun are way better. Have you seen those derpy ogres? Woof. And their lore is like the Dweghom. Call them whatever you want, they're just dwarves and the Norse. What little differences there are are perfunctory. Still rad af, but it's nothing brand new.

The Nord's story in Conquest wouldn’t feel too out of place in the Gloryhammer storyline.

Very metal. Very cool faction. I think they have the most colorful selection for models as well.
Yeah, Nords are one of the best factions if you hate having to paint lots of models that look really similar, their army is really diverse.

Actually starting selling some of my 40k and AOS stuff to fund some of these models , the resin models they make out forgeworld to shame .
