One of the first things I noticed was how the IFE felt so outdated for such a new plane! Thank you my friend! Hopefully some of these A380s survive the pandemic.
Ah, back when LAX was busy. TBIT has the nicest lounges and amenities. They did a really good job with the renovations. Nice video. Hope some of these A380s survive. They're great to fly, especially if you can fly second deck.
They have a very easy layout and you don't have to walk miles and miles to get somewhere. It's great. I'm really looking forward for the renovations between T2 and T3 and the new international terminal. I wonder if the construction will be put to a stop if passenger traffic doesn't increase. I've only been to the Korean Air Lounge twice and I just feel like it has something missing. It would be interesting if they survive, the 787 and the A350 is putting a lot of pressure in these routes. They are definitely really cool to fly in! Hopefully upper deck next time.
@@ShawnsTravels that's a good question on renovations. I think it will continue. No need to half finish it, just finish it since we paid for it. I've only been to Star Alliance Lounge which is fabulous. I've read people are generally disappointed with the KAL lounge when compared to other business lounges. I like the A350 and 787 are great planes too. The A380 I guess came out at the wrong time. I think only a few are saved for the really big markets but that can't or don't need multiple flights. We'll see.
@@aviationwithjeff Ok, good to know I wasnt the only one with the KAL Lounge. Last I visited was Feb 2020. I should have a trip report coming up. Lacking food and drink options. Really felt like they didn't care. :( Good point. I agree with the A380. It came out 30 years too late. The way the 747 dominated the market would of been much different if they had an A380 to compete with at the time.
Didn't realized that Air France serves Champagne even in Economy Class. Definitely a nice touch to their In-flight service :D Hardly heard of any other airlines that serve Champagne in Economy Class. Sad to see more and more A380s getting phased out nowdays
There is just so much information that is missing that I need to be able to add it if people want to read. Thank you for watching, your comment and appreciating the essay hahaha. I'm trying to find more ways to include them in the video and summarize them better.
Considering a lot of airlines are retiring aircraft sooner than expected. At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if we hear from Air France sooner rather than later.
Great trip report. Like
Love ur video abs channel
wow I cannot believe this aircraft is only 6 year old... No wonder they think the A380 isn’t making money for them. Great video👍🏼👍🏼

10:55, you made a mistake, you should write "there *are three of them"
Great videos, the a380s will be missed
For sure, hopefully we can get to fly these for a few more years before they get pulled off.

It’s sad,most airlines are retiaring their A380s!
Imagine that this airplane is retired probably 😢
