Brilliant video, I’m going to Hardangervidda in March to retrace the Hero’s of Telemark route. Not on skis but snowshoes, pulling our gear and towing a military amputee along too. Hopefully we will have great weather too.
I’m leading an expedition in July for the same Charity to Agder, hiking for 2 days then canoeing along the Araksfjorden and Byglandsfjorden for 5 days and nights. So looking forward to that.
I plan on doing the same sometime! Its a such an amazing story from WW2 and is barely known in the US. I think there are guided tours that retrace the route from Agent Poulsson’s “Cousin Cabin” to the Vermork facility.
I’ve watched a few of your videos now I am so surprised you don’t get more likes the effort you put in is to be comeded thanks for sharing by the way I think your little friend has been stowed away all trip he just got found out chilling to late 👍
Thank you Jeff :) That's so nice to hear. We clean the tent properly before packing it down, so I didn't think it was with us all the way - at least I hope so.
Another great channel is always forward. Like this he does amazing stuff yet few views. They not flogging stuff and cooking steaks I think that's popular or saying there's something scary outside or escaping a disaster 😅
@@HikingHansen enjoying it is the most important aspect, doing it in 48 hours is a bonus 👍 After that do it in 72 hours and absorb that environment. Any which way I’m incredibly envious, these kind of adventures feed the soul 👍 Enjoy!
@@ashtoddphotography I totally agree. I’ve done the same hike over a period of seven days many times before. No matter what the purpose, it’s great to stay outside ❄️⛺️
It’s the Saivo (3p) - quite similar to Tarra (2p) though 👍 I love these challenges. It’s actually possible to experience so much and cover great distances even in a couple of days. This won’t be the last long distance project with limited time.
Thanks 😊 It’s a great trip, and worth the struggle. We had an idea that backpack was faster than pulling a pulk. If I were to do it again, I would go for a hybrid like the pullpac from Jemtlander. We use backcountry skis from Åsnes, a Norwegian brand 😊
Having the HMG camera pod on the chest is a good idea if you have four attachments points, but I usually prefer to have it mounted to the hip belt. What’s your thoughts?
I must say... that didn't look at all fun, more like punishment 😂 As you failed, it means you must do it all again. You should have done 60km in the first day. Rather you than me though 😂 I'd have stayed in the first hut you came to and waited until spring time 😂
Great stuff. You guys are as about as tough as they come. Hated the music though lads, sorry. Didn’t need it, detracted from the ambience of the moment. I turned it off mostly.
That's a manly adventure; full sized packs on skis; cool video.
Think I have to do it again this winter. And this time, within 48 hours 🤜
@@HikingHansen Do it!

Awesome! The stuff of dreams for me this, though perhaps those distances when I was younger!

Awesome! Sounds like a great project :) Its a long time to march... Hope you have som other projects planned before that :)

@@briantinkerML Sweet 🛶 Nothing’s better than have lots of expeditions planned 😃

Brilliant! An excellent adventure 👍👍👍
Thank you sir 🙌 Think I have to do this hike one more time this winter and actually try to make it within 48 hours 👊

Amazing trip ! Congrats guys that was some proper badass effort and super quality video :)
Thank you :) It was a great trip.
Skjævestad jo! Super film!
Yes it is 👌 Takk for det 🙌
Great adventure, friends. Well done.
Thanks, Joshua 💪
Is that a Hilleberg Tarra tent? Good vid. Love the challenge aspect of it. Beautiful trip

Grand adventure…what type of pack are you each carrying?
Kind regards
New Brunswick Canada 🇨🇦
One for the books 👌 I’m carrying a Stone Glacier Sky Guide 7900. Not sure which backpack Joachim is carrying though 🤔
I think the other pack is an older Lowe Alpine model, buddy of mine has the same
Cool movie and trip! I want to do this some day. Why did you not use a pulk? Is this more efficient / convenient? What kind of skis are these?

@@HikingHansen Cool thanks! Hadn't heard about the hybrid thing before!
I live in Oslo, but so far just been going on day trips in Nordmarka ;)
@@blocbonbon it’s a new product from Jemtlander, but Northern sled works has used the design for a long time. Nordmarka is great 👌
Spørsmål? Eg skal krysse vidda sjølv snart. Men fjellskia ganger litt. Er dette ein tur muleg på langrennski?
Hei.
Det er fullt mulig, spesielt hvis du følger scooterspor. Men fjellski er nok en fordel😊
Is that hmg pack how does camera pack strap on front ? Not far walking lol 😅

Sorry but, have you not wolfs there in the wilds ?
Thanks for replay!
Hey Andrei. There are wolfs in Norway, but not that many. Most of them live close to the Swedish border. I’ve never encountered a wolf in my life.
Hi. LOVE. LOVE. VIDEO.
I’m glad to hear that, Mark😃
Another great one! Are those the Mountain Race skis btw?
Yes, that’s correct 👍 I bought them for fast cross country adventures
super fin video! Hvilke ski kan du anbefalde ?
Takk! Åsnes lager veldig fine fjellski 👌
Herlig film ! Vidda på sitt beste :D Den grønne isolasjonsbuksa du bruker, hvor har du funnet den ? :)
Hei!
Takk for det 👌 Ja, Hardangervidda er virkelig flott. Buksa er fra forsvaret. Modellen heter Nanok SF 👍
What tent is shown at 9:12 time stamp ?
Hilleberg Saivo from 2012 ;)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the music. I agree that ambience is more than enough. I will keep that in mind for the future 👌
Personally I enjoyed the music - I felt it complimented the scenes and didn’t detract.
Great video all the way around.
