These two don't really compare, since the AIM-9 is a short distance heat seeking missile, while the AIM-7 is a mid distance radar guided missile. Therefor it depends on what you plan to do but if you want mid to long distance weaponry, the AIM-7 can easily be outperformed by an AIM-120. Let me know if this answers your question 👍.

Hello everyone, after the last update, there is a big problem for F-16. When you look at the plane's radar, if there is one number of planes or helicopters in the sky, it will show several numbers on the plane's radar, and there is no more radar lock! pls test and report this problem !
Thanks for the heads up, I'll try to take a look at it! I've noticed some bugs as well right now, fir example the mav sensor indicator on the hud does not correspond to the actual seeker…
Its called "false targets" and is a real thing. The ambient noises of the radar moving inside the nose cone of the airframe generate false contacts on the radar screen. If thats what your refering to.
@ so when I go to the graphic settings there are three presets on the bottom right I can choose from but I can’t make them myself and the highest preset isn’t the highest graphics you can get in the game so I’m limited on graphics
Are you trying to change the settings while in a mission? I believe you can only adjust those from the main menu. That might be the problem, otherwise I can't think about anything.
@@tacticalleak Hit (right shift+p) to toggle the pilots body inside the cockpit. The standard option should also be changeable in the special settings tab.
Im gonna be "that" guy. But you cant make a "gulf war" video and get nearly every aspect of the loadout wrong. No amraams, aim9Ms only, no TGP and wrong jammer. And that squadron only carried HARMs and maybe CBUs during the gulf war.
Your facts are right, however the video title did not specify it being Desert Storm. The term gulf war also refers to the Iraq war 2003-2011, where TGPs and AMRAAMS were in use. But I did not check out wether the actual squadrons carried such armaments.
@@BingoFuel07 The squadron he is playing as (77th Fighter squadron) has only and always been SEAD in modern times. Only using HARMS and maybe GP bombs and CBUs in the first gulf war, whereas in the second gulf war/OIF. They had much less restrictions and had to use new loadouts like CBU103s/87s or Mavs on lead and HARMS only on wingman. But never did they carry 2 mavs per staion as they create way to much drag for defending sams and are too heavy. About the Amraams, the 77th never used C's in Iraq before possibly around 2004/5, always using B's. There have also been some very funky loadouts from 2005 and up with very weird Asymetric ones. Like a GBU31 on one station and a CBU103 on the other. Apologies for the long rambling, im autistically knowledgable about this subject lol. I have also never heard of someone call 2003 Iraq "The gulf war". I have heard "The second gulf war" but "the gulf war" always refers to 1991 from anyone ive heard about it, but maybe youve heard different i guess.
@sambrady9009 Very interesting information and impressively deep knowledge you have there. Thanks for the heads up. The terminology around these two wars is pretty vague imo anyways. Theoretically the Iraq war (2003) is the third gulf war but some call it the second, despite 1991 being the second… Greetings, Bingo Fuel
@@BingoFuel07 The knowledge comes from trying to make the most realistic OIF sead loadout for the DCS and BMS F16, i researched alot about the 77th and learned alot about many other squadrons and aircraft too. such a good video, thanks. also the audio from the f-16 is on point.

Too bad about the landscape, which is still too perfect and rich in contrast to be real...
Gotta give you something to look at 😉
WOW!!! Great video mate!!
Good video but don't forget to fence in and turn your NAV lights off.
Thanks! You're right, forgot to do that 😂
Can I ask what software you used to edit the video?
Yes, I use Premiere Pro to edit my videos.
And how you managed to record those videos outside the plane???? @BingoFuel07

I’m a private pilot. Never any jets or anything I fly aerobatic planes. Really wanna try dcs
shouldn't your hud and wpn mfd page show the mav caret after locking one up?
I think the hud is bugged. For example it also doesnt correspond with the mav sensors position sometimes…

My specs:

what are your in game settings? im running a rtxx 4070TI Super and dont see graphics like yours
