Hi there Emily.great vids.lots of valuable information.your definitely got your chess right.ive played a long now I can't get past 1400 for the life of me haha.ill keep watching your vids,.you explain it well that makes sense.thankyou. Plus gorgous aswell.if I was only 20 years younger lol. thanks again and merry Xmas
I think your videos are great for beginners / intermediate players. You’re very good at breaking down concepts. However, I’ve noticed some of you puzzles (not all), have multiple solutions. While one variation may be technically better to play, often either variation can give you an advantage. This may be confusing if someone watches and finds the other variation than you explain in the video. Just thought I’d point that out, but you really do have great content overall! (For reference I’m around 2000 online)
Nice video. Thanks. With the harder ones at the end, you jump to the next too quickly. It would help to leave the final position up for a couple of seconds so the viewers don't have to hit pause or rewind every time.
Both dim or grim are correct. I prefer dim as it sounds similar to not being very bright, or lacking intelligence. Grim doesn’t clearly say if the knight is grim or the opponent in my opinion.
Another batch of scripted platitudes designed to make beginners feel that they have improved, when they have not. 1 of us is a Chess Master. Guess which one.
Another great video. Thank you, beautiful sensei 🙏
Queen trapping is the most exciting thing in chess.
Nice tactics themed video 😺👍 Keep up the good work .😉❤️

Nice video!
Nice video Emily. Ne5 was another possibility to trap the Queen on the first puzzle no?
Thank you for your lessons! Who is your chess teacher?
Chess has become so beautiful as you are!

Yah, used to be grim; now it's dim. just a generational thing.
isso é fantástico, surpreendente!
I play chess like I play hockey. I crash the king and hope for a lucky bounce.
How do you make the case for trading a 2 rooks for a queen in the first example?
it's 2 rooks vs queen plus knight
@ Thanks, I was missing that!
But Emily 8:59 black knight g4 sacrifice saves the black queen.
