Well hello Brandon, fantastic to see you on the show, a great way to start a Friday. Could feel the pain of the players watching this one, few cringes there. In my head all of us watching were collectively going ooooh ouch! 😊
Don’t feel bad for Alf Inge-Haaland, his son, Erling Haaland is now the most prolific goalscorer in world football, signed for Manchester City (the same club his dad played for when Roy Keane paggered him) last season for $62,000,000, and in his first season he broke the premier league goal scoring record for the most goals in a season (36), beating the previous record of 35 held by Alan Shearer, the all time leading premier league goal scorer with 260 goals, Harry Kane was expected to beat it but he left Tottenham in the summer and joined Bayern Munich. Not only that; but he won the treble with city in that first season too, the premier league, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League. The only other English club to do that was? You guessed it! Manchester United! In 1999, and Roy Keane was at the club during that season and collected a winners medal for all three. So it’s fair to say the Erling has well and truly avenged his father! 💯
My husband had his tibia and fibula broken by a nasty tackle by 2 players on him in a local amateur Sunday league game years ago. He end up with a rod into his bone, plates and screws to fix his leg. He carried on playing for a while after he recovered too 😠 It can be a brutal sport!
Would be cool to see Brandons take on Rugby from his football background. Not much of a soccer follower but hate to see injuries and dirty play in any sport. Never damaged my knee but in high school rugby a kid tried to step/juke and his knee went one way and his body the other, poor kid was screaming his head off.
As a Stoke fan watching Ryan Shawcross break Aaron Ramseys leg was painful and I remember it very well, I can also say though Ryan was very sorry for the injury he caused and alot of fans from afew teams especially Arsenal took hate towards Ryan. Lovely to see your cousin Natasha, nice to see him onboard watching this reaction with you and Debbie.
He might’ve been sorry but Pulis set out the players to hurt the arsenal players, maybe not break his leg but still. Also for a while after the injury stoke fans would boo Ramsey when he touched the ball so I was glad to see you lot get relegated I can’t lie

Back in the late 1960’s and through the 1970’s Leeds United under the management of Don Reveie(?spelling) the team captain,Billy Bremner(?spelling) was noted for being the team that was likely to push the rules to the limit. Any team that played against them could count themselves lucky to finish their games with the same starting line up. Was brutal to watch some of those hits, Brandon was a great addition to the show. Some suggestions, maybe come up with a new seating arraignment for trios and for Brandon's return, which I hope will happen. Also perhaps find a video of brutal fouls in woman's football matches, or professional hockey brutal moments, including bench clearing fights, and a little blast from past Olympic games. From the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics, the water polo match between Hungary and the Soviet Union team. Considered the bloodiest water polo match in history, there was a great movie made about the event and what led up to it, as well as several documentaries. Great as always to see a notice you have uploaded, and hope the channel hits 100K soon!
I love these guest appearances from friends & family. When I first saw Brandon he looked familiar I spent the whole vlog trying to think who he reminded me of & i finally got it Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90210) which is odd as Brian isn’t anyone I have seen for quite a while so the resemblance must be strong 😁. ❤️🇬🇧
Injured player from Axel Witsel (floppy leg) foul - Marcin Wasilewski - came back from his injury, was transferred to Leicester City and won Premier League in 2015/16 season.
Ironically, Wasilewski was such a violent player and Witsel is seen as a calm and fair play footballer. Some people in Belgium think that his serious injury was a punishment from fate (no one deserves such an injury) for all his violent fouls and rarely punished by the referees.
You missed out on that time when Pepe fouled and kicked an opponent on the ground in the Spanish league. He had to be grabbed by his own team mates. Also check out "The Battle of Nurenberg", the most violent game in WC history, the infamous Portugal-Netherlands quarterfinals in the 2006 WC. Tha one deserves a video by itself!
And no mention of Vinnie jones ! Holder of the record for the quickest red card, Wimbledon FC had a real bad reputation. Leeds United had a real bad reputation way back in the sixties and seventies with the likes of Billy Bremner, he was a hard nut
I was thinking wheres Vinny, I looked it up, Vinny has the record for the fasted Yellow card at about 5 or 6 seconds when he played for Sheffield United in 1991. However Vinny did get a lot of reds, and who can forget the picture of Vinny and Gascoigne from 1988.
Chelsea v Leeds United 1970 F A Cup REPLAY at Old Trafford is on TH-cam. The most brutal game in English history and watch most of the players get straight up and put modern players to shame...
In Columbia during the World Cup a Player scored an own goal, un be knowing to him the columbian Cartel had a massive bet on them drawing 0-0 with seconds to go the own goal happened, a few weeks later the player who scored the own goal was shot dead by gunmen outside a Cafe in his home town.
You should watch the game between Barcelona and Bilbao after Maradona’s return from injury. There was a massive brawl that involved literally all the players and even coaching staff. It was also Diegos last game for them before moving to Napoli.
The Rangers player against Bucharest is Graeme Souness. I once played football for my school team (reserves) and was severely injured by a nasty challenge; kicked in the left ribs, i kept playing
About the guy whos leg was broken by Witsel, he played again, he was in Leicester squad when they became champions, although he wasnt playing much, it was often said the he had big role in the dressing room, he's name is Wasilewski
21:02: Another fun fact: Had Haaland's foot been planted on the ground at the time the kick landed, Keane would've done enough damage to ruin the leg forever. The fact that the leg is in the air and not firmly anchored allows it to move with the hit instead, which is the only reason why you don't see the leg become a noodle after that hit.
I'm kind of surprised that this didn't contain the biting compilation of Luis Suarez. it might not have resulted in major injuries but just the fact that he actually bit other players (3 times to be exact) is just so unsettling/disturbing to me that I definitely count it as one of the most brutal things
Regarding number 7, for those who were curious, the blue player's flesh ruptured because of the opposing player's sharp spiked boot, and a deep cut was left, showing a layer of muscles and nervous
I was there for the Chelsea v Arsenal match! It wasn’t good waiting to see what happened to JT (John Terry)… who by the way, is a Chelsea legend. That team was incredible.. we certainly could do with Didier back with us. Or Jimmy Floyd, or Eidur, or Franco Zola.. Tough times at Chelsea right now 💙☹️ Your cuz makes a good addition.. ups the ‘banter’ to an even higher level 😄👍🏼
Great reaction - the worst thing i ever saw was a collision between David Busst playing for Coventry City against Manchester United where he broke his leg and you could see the bone sticking out and the rest of his leg going in completeley the wrong direction, hard to even look at the pictures !
Hello Brandon nice to see you here today. Not a football fan but know a foul when I see one. Never used to be a violent game but now it seems they try and get away with doing the nasty stuff. Great video girlies you need to have Brzndon back to watch Rugby he will enjoy that. Well done girlies ❤❤❤👏👏👏
As an avid football fan my whole life I had to watch this blocking the football screen because I've seen these tackles and most of them are terrible to look at. Brandon is lovely! I wonder if he's familiar with rugby, might be fun to watch a reaction to some great trys?
There have been a number of compound fractures on live broadcasts, one resulted in the open bone ending up dug into the soil...it really turns your stomach !
I remember many of these, the foul on Pedro Mendez is particulary close to home as I'm a Pompey fan. Ben Thatcher got much abuse every time we played a team he was in, non of which is repeatable here. I've had a few injuries playing rugby, a broken nose, cracked ribs and dislocated fingers, non of which were caused by foul play, just the normal rough and tumble of rugby. I did get a large black eye in one game, when my head was sticking out of a ruck and an opposing player decided he was going to kick my head between the goal posts. Pretty unscathed really for over 30 years of playing.
Also a Pompey fan. We don't forget that one. Football: the game where players pretend they're injured; rugby: the game where players pretend they're not.
Marcin Wasilewski, the guy who had his leg broken by Axel Witsel, returned to playing professional football after over a year and he even won Premier League with Leicester in 2016
Have you watched 'Welcome to Wrexham'? It's the documentary about Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying Wrexham AFC football club, now referred to as Hollywood AFC by many, in the town they even have a Wrexham sign on a hill just like the Hollywood one 🤣 It's a brilliant series.
Guys little info.. There are some kind of 1 inch short and thick nails under the shoes.. because they dont want to slide on the grass.. with that nails, they can stand solid on the grass (no accidental sliding) .. :) So think that kicks with that nails.. Not with shoes which has smooth sole..
I was born in the UK in 1951 and when I was growing up football was regularly referred to as soccer. People of my generation still refer to it as soccer from time to time.
14:30 broken leg is serious, but human is not a horse. The player can heal and return to play, tho after mounths of care (depends on how serius injuries are). The Anderlecht player from the clip for example (Marcin Wasilewski), had his leg broken in 2009. After a year of recovery he returned on the field and played in this club until 2013, when he transfered to Premier League. His career ended in 2020, after 469 club matches and another 73 on national team (last played in 2013, 4 years after his injury) Also, the most brutal injury (that I know of, but was unfortunately not on the list) was on Bert Trautmann in 1956 Cup Final, between Manchester City and Birmingham City. Bert, who was a Man City goalie, got his neck broken around 75th minute. That German madman played 'till the end of the match and Man City ended up winng the Cup, and had Bert as a goalie for another 8 years th-cam.com/video/dpshxbR7DtA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=b9lF4V85eHGd64p8
It’s amazing how many bad tackles don’t result in broken bones. The worst break I’ve seen in football was Luke Shaw for Man Utd. Floppy is the right word for that one.
I believe the Roy Keane foul ended Hallands career. No quarter with Roy. Peace ladies and Brandon. (can't believe they didn't include Zidanes headbut).
Football used to be a lot worse than this in the 50-80's. I was at a match were one player was charged with grievous bodily harm, after he punched a player and broke his cheek bone, just as the final whistle went. It went to court and he was found guilty and fined, for the offense. In the late 60's and early 70's, Leeds United were a team who were known to try and kick the other team off the pitch. Eric Cantona kung fu kicked a opposing teams fan, after he had been sent off.
That Hit was the end for daddy Haaland .. Check out the man who Roy Keane was afraid of. Vinnie Jones. Yes he is the actor in movies like Snatch and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels etc.
Injuries in the 70's and 80's were career threatening for sure because broken limbs were treated with a cast and heal time. Now though, these payers get the best therapists, surgeons, physio, treatment rooms and everything that money can afford. So-be-it to say that although most do return back to a full career, for some they don't always come back in their previous form. However there are videos of even worse injuries than this if you look at the lower leagues. We're talking exposed bones, etc.
Playing this beautiful game was my passion and dream....until I had my right leg snapped by an opponent, my tib & fib were both snapped clean.... I never recovered and that was the last time I ever played. The opponent was banned for life as I was the third player whose leg he had broken in 4 years ! Sad but unfortunately true
The guy narrating this video missed pronounced half the names of the players and teams 😂and most players recover from a broken leg rarely do they retire because of it.

@@geoffwright3692 Guaranteed and that is just for fouls on Eddie Gray:)
Great video mujers hermosas can't wait for the next one. Big hug from Spain
Hi natasha an Debbie what a brutal video, brandon did well in his premiere show and should definitely return again 😉😊
brillilant vid as usual WENT BY TOO FAST THOU Natasha & Debbie , YOU SHOW UR COUSIN BRANDON RUGBY HARDIEST HITS
I'm gonna enjoy this video and then spend the day watching old N & D videos lol , no Aaaaarrggy Baaaarrggyy, plenty of jellied eels and turn the phone off so that nobody can give me a tinkle on the blower lol xx
Excellent plan!!
This will be excellent to see
Loved this video reaction. You should do one on cricket injuries. Floppy floppy. 😝
Just found your show and am now addicted ❤❤❤
I was there at number 12. Still got the ticket stub up the loft. Happy days. Souness had some crazy tackles back in the day.
My dad played football in the 90s and the beatings and fights they had... He literally knocked a tooth out of a dude that attacked him. :)))
Big hello to Bradon from uk. As a Leeds Utd fan i saw some bad injury,s snapped ankles to knockouts and goalkeepers loosing teeth,
Yay fellow Leeds fan here, MOT ALAW
@@mandymoo8952 We get every where alway,s nice to here from another leeds fan MOT
😂😂 Not sure how Brandon will feel about that!!
🤣😂 Please tell him it was meant as a compliment 😁❤️🇬🇧
Injured player from Axel Witsel (floppy leg) foul - Marcin Wasilewski - came back from his injury, was transferred to Leicester City and won Premier League in 2015/16 season.
Wow
Eduardo injury is the first time i watched someone ankle can twist 180 degrees. That moment permanently stuck in my mind until now
Good afternoon from sunny Perth Western Australia
Not forgetting Norman 'bites yer legs' Hunter of course!
Morning lovely ladies , oh yes this should be good lol , Roy Keane could fill the whole show on his own lol xx
Only word to describe those hits is Ouch!.
for #7, it couldn’t be shown because the injury was that the player got his thigh cut open and you can see his femur bone
21:02: Another fun fact:
Had Haaland's foot been planted on the ground at the time the kick landed, Keane would've done enough damage to ruin the leg forever. The fact that the leg is in the air and not firmly anchored allows it to move with the hit instead, which is the only reason why you don't see the leg become a noodle after that hit.
OMG. Some other these I actually don’t think were the worst. Loved your cousin too. 🥰🇺🇸🇬🇧🥰🇺🇸🇬🇧❤️
Tough times at Chelsea right now 💙☹️
Your cuz makes a good addition.. ups the ‘banter’ to an even higher level 😄👍🏼
Great reaction - the worst thing i ever saw was a collision between David Busst playing for Coventry City against Manchester United where he broke his leg and you could see the bone sticking out and the rest of his leg going in completeley the wrong direction, hard to even look at the pictures !
I think a lot of people tend to forget that football is a contact sport, just not full contact like rugby. Liked the reaction.
Seen number 7 and is crazy how the guy was walking around you could see inside his leg
Natasha I love your Adidas hoodie..
We love football! Also hey Brandon 😉
Look up David Bust, a Coventry player. Injury was so bad that the goalkeeper near him threw up in the goal… nasty
Oh Brandon knows Rugby!
Presumably you don’t remember football in the late 60’s and 70’s. Very violent.
@@markborder906 I was only 8 yrs in 1970
As an avid football fan my whole life I had to watch this blocking the football screen because I've seen these tackles and most of them are terrible to look at. Brandon is lovely! I wonder if he's familiar with rugby, might be fun to watch a reaction to some great trys?
Awesome, thank you! Man Utd supporter here, I just knew Keane would be number 1 lol. That was bad.
Thats why we love this game
I was at the Portsmouth (Pompey) vs Man City game. It was one of the worst fouls I have even seen. Pedro Mendes was one of our best players
There have been a number of compound fractures on live broadcasts, one resulted in the open bone ending up dug into the soil...it really turns your stomach !
Good video but that was Scary but brandon was CLASS
He is, thanks Scott!
Footbal is very passionate nobody likes to lose!
Natasha & Debbie, you should have Brandon on more often 🙂
We agree!! Thanks for watching ♥️
I still remember that game
I'm French and even though I wasn't born in 1984, I heard about "the night of Seville". It is considered the worst injustice in French football.
If the HBO docu on maradona is the Asif Kapadia docu on him the ankle injury is featured in it. I think that docu has a HBO trailer on you tube for it
These pronunciations from the guy making the video hurt my soul 😭
14:30 broken leg is serious, but human is not a horse. The player can heal and return to play, tho after mounths of care (depends on how serius injuries are). The Anderlecht player from the clip for example (Marcin Wasilewski), had his leg broken in 2009. After a year of recovery he returned on the field and played in this club until 2013, when he transfered to Premier League. His career ended in 2020, after 469 club matches and another 73 on national team (last played in 2013, 4 years after his injury)
Also, the most brutal injury (that I know of, but was unfortunately not on the list) was on Bert Trautmann in 1956 Cup Final, between Manchester City and Birmingham City. Bert, who was a Man City goalie, got his neck broken around 75th minute. That German madman played 'till the end of the match and Man City ended up winng the Cup, and had Bert as a goalie for another 8 years

Ajax isn’t pronounced (A-jacks) but instead is pronounced (eye-axe) 😂. Also, your friend is cuuuuute!!!
Cousin… they literally said it in the beginning….😐
@@YorkshiremanReacts26 oh no!!!! 😱😱😢🍼
Eric Cantona kung fu kicked a opposing teams fan, after he had been sent off.
i’d love to see you react to the women’s football! it’s really taking off the last year!
Minute 13 : 45 is Otto Rehagel the best trainer ever
The guy narrating this video missed pronounced half the names of the players and teams 😂and most players recover from a broken leg rarely do they retire because of it.
Watch Chelsea v Leeds cup final in the 1970s.
The most violent match in UK history.
Makes these look like an under 7s match
