- Mr Afolabi Osunlade Popularly known as Thousand wire was a popular force on the guitar behind many hits of Segun Adewale and King Sunny Ade even on stage.
He made quite some revelations. - เพลง
wow...this is deep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg!!!!!!!! we need to support this old man, Mr Afolabi Osunlade!
Both the interviewer and the old man guitarist are exceptionally talented at their job👍🏾👍🏾👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I enjoyed the hours I spent watching this program. Bravo 🙌
Waaaooooo
I can't believe I listened to this interview with keen interest it was very contergeous even not being a yoruba man I skipped my lunch?❤
I loved the part the King himself spoke with smoth calm and relaxed manner.
The way he appreciated people God placed on his path to greatness who are his family friends so to speak.
And the guru guitarist was exceptional in his memory by ways of events, even as a blont talker he was still respectful when necessary.
I have really enjoyed myself though those that maybe hurt somehow should pls handle it with maturity He wouldn't have handled it better.
My wish is that he should by now live an average life because his experience is a blessing to the yorubas Nigeria and Africa at large.
Interviewer kudus!
You too much
This old man should be recognised.. He must be fully recorded for the archives.. The interviewer knows his job. Good resercher
This is awesome, a man with very strong memory.
I like him so much.
He is a man of facts
Baba Thousand Wire, you are great man.
Thank you Agbaletu for bringing Baba on the show.
Uncle Thousand wire, I remember you from Alhaji Ayoola Street in Oworonsoki Bariga Lagos. You lived there for a couple of years. Well -done sir
A very credible source from a honest witness. First time I would see a no-hold barred interview on Sunny Ade. Kudos also to the interviewer for this great historical source.👍🏻
Always Advised ne when i was playing Hawaiian guitar for Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Thank u sir, I really Appreciate u ,Thousand wires
Kudos to this interviewer for his own research and knowledge as displayed with the guest.
Well done 👍
Hi Agbaletu!
I was wondering if you can introduce as breakers or interludes in between your interviews by playing short clips of the music of the artiste or musician being discussed.
I think this idea add some juices or flavors to your interviews. Rather tyan just roll on with the interviews just talking about the musician and issues.
Thanks. Youre doing a great job 👏 👍🏾

What I really appreciate about Dele Adeyanju is the fact that, prior to the interview, he makes deep research about his interviewees and all they are associated with which makes the interview very engaging, enriched and quite expository
It think so
I respect him about that as well, he makes the interview so interesting so interesting. He is very good
Brilliant,bold and clean interview.
1000wire baba, longtime no see. We missed you here in Chicago.Very good man and upright. Still enjoying the CD that you help us with.Thank you very much. May God give you more strength.
This is a GREAT eye opener in the Nigeria music industry. Well done. How I wish the knowledge of the past could teach the new generation a better way forward.
I know This Man ,Thousand wires ,Even He was my Mentor and I respect him much, Too much Experience on guitar 🎸,
This man should write a book on his stint as a juju music guitarist. He held me spellbound with the way he reeled out his story with facts, laced with historical sequence and accuracy. What a walking encyclopedia! Kudos to the interviewer too 👏. The whole story is unputdownable!!!
The man too sabi music
Thank you for documenting some of our early Yoruba music history with these wonderful interviews with the pioneers which have helped us connect many dots for posterity and not making them become blurred in folktales
You are a straight forward person God will grant you long life
Wonderful! This man is genius and a real music historian. Well done, Agbaletu for bringing this mouth-watering interview.
Papa Thousand Wire is so sharp and highly experienced The interview was highly thought provoking, interesting and very factual Thanks Bale Agbaletu for allow us to have a lot of insights into the past happenings in the Juju music scenes of the past. This is one of the most interesting interview conducted by Agbaletu Please keep it up
This guy DELE ADEYANJU is doing something very unique and exceptional! A lot of people were made to believe rumours and hear-says about these old musicians but this guy has done a good job catching up with the real actors. You deserve a gong my man. Keep up the good job!
Kudos to you boss
Again I want to appreciate my brother who is interviewing this man thank you for bringing here may God bless you too infact we need this kind of interviewing in this days
A very down to earth Ekiti man. I enjoyed this interview. Agbaletu keep it up.
Wow! This man is very talented, factual, sincere and genuine throughout this interview and beyond. Kudos to you Dele Adeyanju for a well done exercise which consists of competence, well researched, diligence and professionalism. God bless you. I am of opinion if King Sunny Ade could just organize a concert for the old retired members who are still alive and could still handle instruments and sing while whatever revenue realized from this concert should be shared among old members, it would assist them and mend the fences within King Sunny Ade and retired members. It is my personal opinion though!
But some are dead
This interviewer is so so good. This man being interviewed is very straight forward and truthful also with good memory
Weldone sir whem showing and interviewing these Legend.. try to show their highlight during those days at work
This man knows Lakeshore lol Yankee man 😂😂😂😂😂
Very smart and plain man, he said everything as it is without any hesitation.
The man is not bitter even king sunny must have offend him.he says it with truthness
@@adekunleoyebanji7306don’t always judge with one side of the story

This man is very knowledgeable in terms of music and a straightforward man I believe he is a genuine Christian when I don't know but he is a frank man
THIS INTERVIEW IS A THERAPY FOR THESE MEN oOOoOOOOO.. GREAT JOB
Agbaletu, great job. However, for the first time, your interview is incomplete. Thousand wires is full of information, spot on Analysis, matter of fact assessments, and incredible unmemorable experiences. My point, you need to bring him back and very soon. Thank you!
Dele ,you are so unique in your interview , pls keep it up.
I love this man's submission, he knows so much about juju music.
All of these stories should be recorded and archived. They are our Nigerian treasures. They are history of music and musicians in Nigeria well after they are gone. We don't want distorted and self serving history later years after they are gone. We want them like this from the horses mouth.
Well done interviewer.
This man knows music and his brain is like a computer whao
Seriously 🔥🔥
and so entertaining nd educated 👏👏
This is master class interview. The new generation artist to learn from the experience. Entertainment is just a challenging field............
GREAT SHOW THIS TYPE OF INTERVIEW IS HISTORICAL. EXCELLENT JOB FROM AGBALETU TV.
The man is sharp and witty❤ ❤ ❤
Orlando Owoh was arguably the best guitarist amongst them all... He could do anything with his guitar and sings simultaneously. I remember watching Orlando Owoh at OPA ARO HOTEL, Fagba Iju in 1996... Orlando Owoh was very good
The same statement of King Sunny Ade after the Late Lenged Orlando Owoh passed
@@olayoriclifford-hh6pnààààààààààààà
@@olayoriclifford-hh6pn I saw Orlando Owoh live performances on several occasions, and I visited him at his house in Mulero, Agege when he had stroke before he later died. I am a big fan of Orlando Owoh oooo, and I make bold to say I've listened to all his recorded albums.
King Sunny Ade is the master guitar ist.
Disagree
1000 wire.........
Super guitarist
Na Ekiti man. Bold and truth be told.
I didn't know that Baba Thousand Wire lived on Abiodun Street in Shomolu. Whao
I love this O'G 🎸 Guitarist. He's sound & confident character speaks volume.
Dele, thank you for spotlighting great talents behind the popular artists & musicians who have always take credit for everything they gather from talents like this wonderful proud Guitarist.
Solid interviewer. Alot of these musicians lived a wonderful life, wish we can do more for them.
Ekiti people are too educating nd knowledgeable kudo to interview nd the interviewer my first time of watches this shows ❤❤
It would have been nice for you to have talked a bit about how and why Thousand Wire returned to NGR from America where he presumably had a better life. What he is doing now and why he isn't now using him exceptional musical talent to grace the music scene.
Abi oo
#MrDele...I like your kind of interview...I love your composure...I have not met an interviewer like you; so informative, so cool, so calm and calculated...I love to meet and host you someday...I want to be like you when I grow up...I love the way you engaged Sir Shina Peters in the last interview...I watched you and SSP on TH-cam for more than 2 hours...#WeldoneMrDele...
This man is good and honest !
Excellent interview. It is sad that Thousand Wire don't seem to be putting his skills to good use anymore. It is hilarious though that he has amazing mannerisms and gesture as Kayode Olaiya aka Aderupoko.
Waaaooo. This man and the interviewer are loaded. Very interesting interview.
Whaoh! This is quite revealing. Thank you for taking us through the memory lane in the music of yesteryears.
This man is class and a good talker. Proper, top guy who knows music
the man was a very skillful guitarist.
A good research findings, plus updating, please, agbaletu TV, more of these, and continue to keep it up. Many thanks, to you and the - Senior fellow, music industry world wide, too. Thousand Wire !❤❤❤
This is called SAY IT AS IT IS!
This man is brilliant
A very self assured personality and knowledgeable musician.
Very engaging and forthright interview.
I hope 1000wire is doing very well, considering how much entertainment he has given to us juju music lovers.
May the lord uphold you,I like your memory
Agbaman! I like your brand!
Nice one from Agbaman.
What Thousand Wire said about Jide Osinubi composing for Sina Peters was true. I went with my friend, Akinrogun Alaba Yusuf to see SSP at the Women Development Centre, Abuja sometime in 2005 when Chief Jide Osinubi said it that he was the one who composed the song in the presence of Sina. I could mention at least five prominent people who were in that Hotel room at the WDC adjacent to CBN headquarters in Abuja. Though Jide Osinubi (Sokoyokoto) is late now.
jide osinubi didn't compose for Ssp, he only introduced ssp to uncle Laolu Atkins when he was working with sunny music.
This man and my uncle play with sir skido,.
SSP had always lied that he composed all his songs even when on camera, and so he did about most of the musical arrangements that we the musicians did, but he would always claim to have come up with the idea and that is very bad because he is also a very talented songwriter and good musician but to lay claim to lyrics you did not write or produce is very wrong. This same issue is the reason why Uncle Laolu Akins parted ways with him, and same reason was why his whole band defected in the U.S so do you see a pattern here? Back then, I was young and naive but now, I am grown and informed so the whole reason all these artists do that is to not pay their musicians royalties so they do not award them credit for what they have contributed to their music cause that would be grounds for royalty period.
What an intelligent and obviously gifted musician
@agbaletu I am so happy to hear Dr Orlando Owoh in this interview, but I really wish you conduct a good interview or documentary on Dr Orlando Owoh... I am a big fan of Orlando Owoh 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
He already did with his son and I think his brother too... you can check through his live videos or recorded videos here on TH-cam
We missed a live with the konga master himself, I would have sacrificed everything to listen to such interview
I enjoyed this interview with this man. However, I believe the audio can be more crisp, sharp and clear.
Very interesting interview, what a great guitarist, this interview deserves part two please
Nice interview pls can u interview one big musician call Francis Akintade from ondo waiting f u sir.
Then it was about the passion not for the money.Same was also in our football up till Odegbami,Late Mudasiru Lawal and co.
Thanks for this great job, am glued to your channel 💯💯💯
Great interview 👏👏👏
This is the most interesting of all your interviews ever. Everything your guest said about SSP is 1000% accurate. I knew SSP to be a notorious womanizer. O ye ki wan ti le magun fun were
God bless you OLOTU
Great interview. The man is just too encyclopaedic. Wow!
This man is so accurate and factual.
Fantastic interview.
BOB OHIRI MY FATHER Introduced TENOR GUITAR to Juju Music Please Do not DISRESPECT MY FATHERS LEGACY..!! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH KING SUNNY ADE FACE HIM..!!!
Alabosi ni gbogbo yin! When Bob Ohiri was fighting for the good of the Band you all made him look like he was doing too much... THANK GOD YOU MENTIONED IT THAT HE REPRESENTED AFRICAN BEATS AND FOUGHT FOR YOU ALL.....BOB OHIRI IS RESTING BUT HIS WORKS AND LEGACY WILL NEVER DIE !
Monday John played the first tenor in Juju. But no one called it tenor then. What he played was progressive tenor. Ohiri's contribution in juju was great. But Monday John played the first tenor
Bob Ohiri was the greatest tenor guitarist in Juju music. I miss him so much. May his soul continue to rest in peace in Jesus name. Amen.
I love the interview.
This is great Interviewer vs sharp interviewee. AGBALETU is very unique and indeed a well research portion, worthies salt!
this man is deep. he is a living library of juju experience of late 60s,70s and 80s
This man is factual..God bless you Sir
I enjoy all the revelations revealed by this great man
Very thrilling. I have been smiling and learning.
I fact I was very impressed with this interview
I commend you for the good job you are doing.I see your production has more of a documentary than just interview.Pls,how can i get the original of IBA LOYE KASE by Ebenezer Obey?
This man is a music genius
Nigeria is such a lawless country!!!! These retired musicians should sue!!
It would be nice if you could look into Sunny’s relationship with his manager who passed away in the 70s. Sunny’s rise was inextricably linked with that relationship but not a lot has been said about it.
A very comprehensive interview with the guest , my brother, where are these people, TERRA KOTA FEMIGBOYEGA AND PAT BIO , PATRICK ABIODUN.
If I don't follow Agbaletun what's my gain
And me too
great interview.
More power to you elbows 💪💪💪💪
Wooow! 3much information ❤
Wahoo....this man sabi!
Thousand Wire.
Wow, memory lane with ayoade and abbey city
