We tried to book one of the water villa for this December, i checked with almost all water villas in Maldives, but very expensive almost more than double. So dropped the plan.
December is the main season. You can still get good prices even then, but you need to book at least 2 months in advance. Maybe you can make it next year. Wish you all the best
