Michael had stashed supplies for him and his brother as well as the other escapees in a dead man's grave called E.Chance Woods . The supplies contain a clothes as well as a bag with fake passports and credit cards and money for Michael and linc also a key to car which is nearby. He had a tattoo on his wrist says " RIPE Chance Woods " . Agent mahone successfully solves the first piece of puzzle from Michael's tattoos and then heads directly to the Cemetery.

Yes Indeed I agree with you. Even Michael was shocked when Alex arrived to the cemetery.
The moment in the elevator with Mahone and LJ, Michael realises that Mahone is always one-step ahead and going to be a problem. I loved the Michael-Mahone rivalry that soon turned out to be a partnership and then a friendship.
They seemed equally smart. I think the PDA part was the list of dead people names, and E.Chance Woods is not on the list. I guess
I don't think Alex is Michael's equal. Michael outdoes him at every opportunity later on. Alex got put into Sona because Michael tricked him, Michael got put in because he took the rap for Sara killing Bill Kim.
I think Michael was just surprised Alex was quickly able to figure out parts of his plan and piece things together. But then again Mahone did say Oscar Shales was also very smart, so he'd had experience tracking a very clever individual before.
@@FurryWulfz he is equal to michael because he did some thing in the past which came haunting to him by company . you cannot perform at your full potential if your strings are pulled by another person besides michael took his full time to make this perfect escape plan and execute it whereas mahone had to find him before michael execute his plan which mahone was doingmore perfectly . it means he might be bit more smart then Scoffield

Love the antagonism between Michael and Mahone in season 2
Mahone is a very great character and he almost outsmarted Michael in some occasions
And then I loved the respect and love growing up between the 2 until the end of season four. I mean he was on Michael's grave with the others at the end of the show

Alexander Mahone is my favourite character in this series. The grace and charisma he has as an officer is sensational....

Hell that kid sucre was also pretty handy but those three were great
My all excitement after season 1 when mahone was introduced was how will Scofield counter this genius and it was so fun and t bag with awesome acting very unpredictable it was and still is one of the greatest web series

Mahone was the real deal but too dependent on his drugs. He was almost as smart as Michael but can kill without hesitating. Michael is very smart but always avoided killing anyone, even saving bad guys sometimes.
He was dependent because he was stuck within the company and there was no way out, deep down he didn’t want to kill and the drugs were his coping mechanism his only saving grace especially after making his wife and child leave.
I loved this character very, very much ..

@@zoxyy.1x Sorry I wasn't correct, Mahone says county. So that is why he asks for the names of the county dead and alive as well. That is how sees (I am guessing) that Chance Woods is already dead.

Using an electrical PDA ( Personal Digital Assistant ) he accessed the records of the dead people in the county where the warehouse was supposed to be

Why wouldnt he assume he needs to go to the house of e chance woods?

@@gh0510 The Warehouse that Michael rented before entering Prison was a fake and a diversion to drive the cops away whereas in reality the tools and clothes they needed where stashed in the grave underground. Yes just like you said he accessed the records and found out that E.Chance Woods was already dead so no need to go to his home and look for the convicts there
@@PrinceKassad95 I get they did that to show that Michael isn't perfect and there is som1 whos almost as clever as him. But thats just an easy mistake Michael could've prevented coz if Mahone got there 5-10 mins earlier n waited for them they would've all been caught.
So Mike shouldv either planted a fake headstone with a fake name n tattooed that. Or just tattooed RIPE which should be enough for him to remember which graveyard he needs to go to.
@@gh0510 - You can't really got to a (legit) cemetery with your headstone in your pocket, and just "plant" it there yourself, and expect it to still be there years later.
You have to buy a burial spot, pay some maintenance fees, installation fees for the headstone, etc etc
In total, for a good spot in a nice cemetery like that, it can add up to a few thousand bucks.
Even more if you want a cool mausoleum spot. It costs even more if it's a private cemetery, in a urban area.

I'm just wondering how Alex could make sense of the Ripe Chance Woods tattoo. Nothing indicated that it was meant to be read as RIP E. Chance Woods. My only guess is thinking about wether it is a name or not. But then you still wouldn't know that Ripe stands for RIP E. Maybe it's just because it's late and I've been working the entire day, but I don't think anyone would crack that in the matter of seconds that Mahone did. Even if he's very intelligent. Because that riddle is so far fetched for someone with no reference point, that it's not even really about intelligence anymore but rather mad creativity.
Mahone knew it was a possible name so that’s why he’s looking it up in the Census by that name it was either going to show someone alive or dead. If someone was alive that meant a possible house or other location but clearly the census showed the person was dead and where he buried
