That helps, but it is hard to get my arms in there. Next time I'm going to prop up the drum. My 6-year-old Maytag washer clunks even balanced especially with a heavy faux sheepwool comforter. That means the washer is next and I'll get my parts fro your site. Thank you for the helpful videos.
Thank you I could not figure out how to string that belt to save my life. lol. I thought I had too long of belt. Got me going. Thanks for the great video.
I'm sorry my name is Marcus Austin and I replaced the drum belt on my GE I put it all back together put some clothes in the dryer cut it on and it ran for about 5 minutes and it cut off why is that
He makes putting the belt back on look so easy.

Bro thank you so much!!!! I fixed my dryer. The idler pulley needed WD40 but I am still gonna replace it
Originally these have a red grease on the pulley and you can see traces of it in the video. Grease should be reapplied but what type does it call for?
Thanks for posting. Was able to do the fix myself!! Running better than it did when new.
You're welcome! Glad we could help with your repair.
Matt Thank you so much. This is an Excellent video along with your other videos that have helped me in the past!
Any advice/directions on how to reinstall the idler pulley arm under the motor?
