I do not have any special dolls for the 4th of July, but I still have my very well loved as much as very worn Raggedy Andy Doll that my Late Dad gave me when I was a Child:)!! My Raggedy Andy reminds me of the 4th of July because Raggedy Andy is very American and patriotic looking:)!! My favorites from your patriotic collection are Colonel Doll from the 1975 Star Spangle Collection and your Besty Ross Doll:)!! I also really LOVE Katharine Lee Bates attached heart with American the Beautiful on one side and her name as well as year she was created:)!! Thank you for sharing these wonderful patriotic Dolls:)!! I hope you had an awesome 4th of July:)!!!

I love to display my Annalee Uncle Sam Mouse Doll and my trio of patriotic Annalee mice for the 4th of July, all of which I discovered waiting for me in a local thrift store about a year ago! I also have a duo of MAB Paints/Tastykake Bobblehead patriot dolls "Phil" and "Phillis" that go nicely with my other displayed collectibles. Thanks for sharing your collection! Have a wonderful holiday! Take care & God bless!

I had to go look up Phil and Phillis to see who they were. They are awesome! If it wouldn't make me feel like a traitor to the Red Sox I would have to get them, LOL!

@@vintagedollcollector4828 I wanted to mention to you that I too have some First Lady dolls in my collection, however, when I was watching your video the other night I could not remember the company that made them! Lol! It is Brinn's Collectibles and my first "First Lady" doll I found was Jane Finley Harrison, the daughter-in-law of President William Henry Harrison who served as White House hostess for 31 days which was the length of his tenure as Commander-In-Chief. I found her in a local thrift store and just by the way she was dressed I knew she was someone special. After finding her, I found, along with their boxes, Martha Washington and Abigail Adams in another thrift store. These dolls still had their wrapping on and I felt blessed to find them as I love American History as well as being a doll collector! Another interesting find I found in the recent past and again at the thrift store! was a doll of Susan B. Anthony. I thought at first she was a prim schoolmarm until I researched her online and found out who she was!

Hello ! So nice to have another post again so soon. Your patriotic collection is wonderfully diverse and inspiring. My favorite is Betsy Ross. I love her blue, embroidered eyes. Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸

As a History buff, I really enjoyed this Video. I'm currently reading a book titled Founding Mother's. Abigail Adams is one of these Women as is Dolly Madison who saved the famous George Washington portrait when the British were coming to burn down the White House.

Thanks Diana! My two biggest passions are dolls and history. I hope to add more Revolutionary War characters to the collection by next year!

Love the link to the Bicentennial. I was 10 in 1976, and the whole school put on plays and recitations for a special event. My class was assigned "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere", I memorized all of it, but can't recall what section was mine to speak. What a great memory from my childhood, but I didn't like having to wear a dress and bonnet.

Your comment reminded me that I have another doll I should have put in this video. One time my doll club did a "'70s Challenge" where we had to dress a doll in some style from the '70s. I dressed a doll in a Bicentennial costume - not a real 18th century style, but the kind of tacky '70s interpretation of that era that we saw a lot of back then. I'll have to dig it out for next year's video!

Thank you! I'm pretty sure I have an Uncle Sam clothespin doll around somewhere too. He'll have to wait for next year's video!

I just wanted to know... do you have any other full-size, or close to full-size, ventriloquist dummies in your collection. I would really enjoy seeing that!
