WILDEST Lawn NEARLY Defeated ME

This insane grass nearly made me quit! This lawn was the longest I ever did without my ride on mower! The front pathway (sidewalk) needed a lot of work. Edges overgrown and the back lawn was long and THICK! It took over 5 hours and I was completely exhausted afterwards.

Sorry you are feeling bad. Yes I saw how thick the grass was and you stay busy in all kinds of weather as well as your job is physical. I understand about bills it's a never ending cycle.
Your determination and character and being a good guy and husband and father plus helping people is a positive and good way to live life but certainly demanding. Please take care and try to get some rest. Not sure if you take a daily vitamin supplement or drink herbal teas but if you don't maybe try it out. I find that this has helped me a great deal.I worry about you because you have a lot in your plate.

Nice job re-taming that grass! Just a lawn isn’t always easy to maintain if you let it go for too long. Pulling all the grass in the hedges does a lot to make it look good.

Those are hard but fun to mow. I find I get a better result on the flattened runners if you just start on the bag, but my gear is different and of course that takes a lot more trips to empty it. Cheers from over the ditch in NZ.

Just curious-does that kyukyu not take a straight edge? I noticed you scalped back the edges to almost bare ground. I know some grasses like Bermuda grass don’t make a nice edge, is that the same with your type of grass?

Hi Mozza, awesome transformation on this very overgrown property. It was awesome at the end reveal that you had Poppy running in the backyard free from the restraint of the long grass. Those Hotdog dogs are so low to the ground so you made the homeowners and Poppy's day with the short grass.
Even though it is hard to believe the fact that in the United States so many people have their dogs as beneficiaries of their Estates, it was very interesting. Today some people never have children and consider their dogs as a replacement.

You should use a blade on your strimmer for very long grass, it would scythe it at ground level or buy a brushcutter with the cowhorn bars. Great job you done there👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Swear cutting grass is therapeutic lol and btw If you start weed eating at the top of the tall grass first then gradually work your way down you’ll save more string even if the grass is really thick 💯 just a little tip and dope video 🔥
