Today, we are going to visit one of the most popular fish markets in Sapporo: Nijo Market!
The whole island of Hokkaido is known to have some of the best seafood in Japan. And in Nijo market, you can witness that by finding awesome quality fishes. But the main attraction here is the crabs!
Crabs are one of Hokkaido local delicacies and you can find huge ones here. And they cost a lot but they are actually cheaper than in the mainland's markets.
Another good reason to go to Nijo market is that you will many great restaurants surrounding the market with amazing and very fresh seafood-based dishes!

What do you recommend the most to get? I’ll be visiting Hokkaido but I dont know where to cook the crab if I buy it 🤣

If you don’t want to cook, you can eat at the restaurants around Nijo market. They use the fresh products of the market! 😃
