  • South Africa is facing challenges ranging from ongoing energy crisis, record high unemployment rates, and violent crimes. Former President Thabo Mbeki recently painted a grim image of the nation and its future. He claimed there was no national strategy to solve the numerous socio economic issues facing the nation. Human Rights activist and commentator Mcebo Dlamini says this is due to a lack of decisive leadership in the country. He elaborates.

Oh and your an expert at detecting lies?
This guy is pandering, deflecting blame by playing the same old blame and race cards. These excuses are so fking old and so easily disproved. The issues he mentioned were true, but he did not hold the right people to account. Because the black man can never be wrong apparently. Despite Africa itself being riddled with the same issues, and there are no white people in those countries. Of course history is something few actually know about SA and of Africa. So they suck bullshit out of their thumbs and are otherwise blind to the same patterns happening across our border. It's just too easy to always blame somebody else to riol people up and divide them.

A nation reflects its people, and SA is an eyesore.
He mentioned problems we are all aware of, really its common knowledge, or should be but I bet most on the street are unaware because self education isn't a thing among the majority really. It's blind allegiances and out dated ideology more than logic and knowledge of history. He also played the old race and blame card, which is an old ANC excuse, because the black man can never be In the wrong. Although much of Africa stands as an example of the same failures, and there are no white people in those countries.
When I walk into the streets, I look at the driving, the lawlessness, the filth, you cant blame that on government entirely. What I see is a people who have no respect for others, for the environment, and for the law. Much of thr majority don't have standards, respect, consideration.
Sri Lanka had recently collapsed, due to the same government corruption and racial discrimination. But despite that, the people had better standards, and that country is less of a fking shithole than ours.

They want to turn SA into a communist state, but they themselves are exempt from its methods. So basically they live it up, like they already do, and we all suffer, like we already do.
Communism is a shitshow, many in opposition parties advocate for capitalism, it will work for the nation. The problem I have with it is, when looking at the US, is that capitalism, eventually makes people value money more than the lives of others, and that corporations who gain vast wealth, eventually start paying off government to push policies in their favor to further their interests, and ignores the peoples interest.
