Yes I was just thinking the same thing - Seem like everyone else was too. Ironically this version in this video of the album cover look like they removed some of the bottom bits probably to be more family friendly. so even this version we're looking at has been censored. They will probably just airbrush out the actual genetalia , that would be the easiest fix anyone could do it in photoshop, because that's where the obvious controversy is, but I still don't think it's neccesary, and the kid is obvioously just trying to make some money by suing now and missing the entire point of the original picture...
Correction: the record label didn't re-release the album with any edited cover art - it's me, I deliberately edited out the lower bits of the photo just so the videos don't fall prey to age-restriction lol! Also, that lawsuit was later thrown out of the court, so no worries! 😊

That iconic guitar riff is pretty catchy but to me it's Dave Grohl's drumming that sets this song apart! That dude is SO talented! Kinda like how Tre Cool's drumming is one of the big reasons why Green Day's Basket Case is SO awesome!
How about Bill Ward's drumming in all Black Sabbath songs? That, along with Tony Iommi's palm-muted guitar playing, literally created a new genre which we now know as Heavy Metal!
Dave was inspired by the funk bands of the 70s and 80s. Go listen early in the morning by the gap band and ull hear it. Before anything else gets said daves confirmed this too... one of the reasons nirvana and dave get respect by the black music community.
Dave and Kurt are incredible but don't forget Krist. He is a very underrated bassist.

@@MyMusicHarbourage It's actually not about heroin addiction. His friend wrote "Kurt smells like teen spirit" on his wall and he thought it meant he was inspirational. And he ended up writing this. It's really not about anything, like most nirvana songs It's just words on a melody that have loose meaning here and there. Kurt once described his lyrics as honest opinions and thoughts he has, but they're usually thrown in where they make a good sound for the song. Hardly Any nirvana song can be said to be about anything.
