Nirvana - Come as you are "Take your time Hurry up The choice is yours, don't be late" Blink-182 - Adam's Song "I took my time I hurried up The choice was mine i didn't think enough"
Just drove through Aberdeen Washington, Kurt’s hometown, for the first time yesterday. The sign welcoming you to the city reads “Come As You Are.” Warmed my heart.
Kurt hated Aberdeen? I really don’t think you know exactly how he felt. Regardless, it is his hometown, and I paid my respects. Clearly the town of Aberdeen also has love and appreciation for Kurt. I believe everyone has a love hate relationship with their hometown, but it will never not be his hometown.
Have you even ever been to Aberdeen? If not, you should take a trip there and see how the town is in person. It has a unique energy. I think growing up poor in small western Washington mountain town creates a certain level of isolation but also breeds creativity. Yes the town was very poor, yes he had a shitty childhood in Aberdeen, but without his past in Aberdeen, I really don’t believe that Nirvana would exist now.

This song is weirdly good. Im actually glad people still listen to Nirvana nowadays.
Yeah my mom listened to them in Highschool so she has a soft spot for the 90’s grunge and punk and I have listened to it since I was a little kid as a result and it’s awesome we all just love it
Ikr so glad Nirvana is popular at my high school. Ive been listening to them since I could remember
I was introduced to Nirvana because of my dad. He likes lots of bands but the only band that ever stood out to me was Nirvana. The first song (from what I know) that I ever heard was Aneurysm. I've grown up with them and I love them dearly. The fact that Nirvana still listened to as much as they are now isn't a surprise, they we're and are the best. Just sucks how kids at my school think they are a clothing brand!
People still listen to Bach. He was making music over 280 years ago. Nirvana is not even 30 years: Music is timeless
It's better than listening to the cancerous garbage they put out nowadays. 90's can never be touched!
