Dont think there will ever be a time hearing My Hero now where I won’t cry my heart out for Taylor. I feel like I’ve lost a family member. It hurts so much.
Time 0:32 Josh Freese had to walk around and sit for a second to collect himself, what an emotional moment and night for everyone in the band and all the fans, bet not a dry eye in attendance and fans watching this amazing footage.🙏
Thank you for saying this... From the bottom of my heart... The tears crept up from my tiptoes and before I knew it I was a waterfall. I could barely sing along. Snot-nosed. 😂 It was one of the most beautiful & emotional things I've ever been a witness to... I wanted to jump in the car and go to Boston tonight, but it will never be the same. 🤟🏼
They're on Fire!! In All My Life, that vocal/drum syncing (big tom & bass?) duo-thing they do around 11:16½ ("Nothing! To! Hide!") sounds Killer!.. one Helluva 'pre-Grand Finale' ...then Bang Out The End.. it was Pretty Bad *ss, my $.Ø2! (edit: to clarify something)🔥🤘✌🎶❤
Josh really is the best fit for them of any drummers I’m aware of. I’m sure there’s some kickass bedroom drummer that just isn’t known but that’s life.
Give it time. Before ya know it Josh will be just another goof in the foos. Taylor looked up to him so much, was a friend. I’m sure T would def approve. 🫡
Just be grateful they are playing at all. People are there to hear whatever the guys play. Not put in requests or instructions of how you want a certain song played. Listen to the album version if you want to hear it like that.
I think the 2 main "normal" versions are 1) the Howard Stern performance, where Dave plays both guitar parts & 2) the 1995 Brixton Academy version of my Hero. But they also do both guitar parts in the Lowlands Festival 1995 performance, And I think at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver BC in 1995. There could be more live versions where they play it like the studio versions but those are the only ones I know
Its so obvious they didnt want Josh to play the intro to My Hero. This is A Call sounded like pearl jam speeding through every song & Josh was really lacking important drum fills! 😢
I am 60 years old and I can say Foo Fighters are in my top 3 bands of all time.
Josh, you are the man! You're killing it bro!👍 totally 100% Taylor approved!!👍

Wow,...I would have missed that. Thanks!

Thanks for posting these!! Was at the show but way back in 3e. Great recordings!!
Thank you for this!!
❤❤❤
2 Friends from OC, Josh and Taylor. Playing drums up there has to be hard.
Amazing
The stage is very U2 ZooTV, even with the suspended car over the stage.
Thank you!

👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Awesome 🔥🔥
Taylor miss you bro wtf!
...I know right!?... it's out of our hands now, Josh is doing a great job playing with the boyz... ✌️😬
🎁🕶️
😎
Why is there a car hanging from the ceiling?? 😄
*van
Dave's trying to find a polite way of replacing Josh already
I love Josh, but I miss the wild hair flying around as Taylor just demolishes a drum set....
if you talk about long hair, I agree. But about "demolition", Josh have double power (he reminds Grohl's style + more technique)
Freese is better than TH… other than the hair… agreed
@@baconator1550 yes, Taylor was great but Josh is one of the best around. Not easy to admit but any drummer know Josh is a real beast

How come none of these guys go bald like most other 50 year olds! Lol
I just wish they’d play My Hero normally for once…
Under the circumstances this was appropriate.
Just be grateful they are playing at all. People are there to hear whatever the guys play. Not put in requests or instructions of how you want a certain song played. Listen to the album version if you want to hear it like that.
Stank we just have to watch the older videos. Obviously we’re ungrateful for asking. 😅

They did when Shane Hawkins played.

Amen to the lacking important fills.
