The first thing I noticed with the S1KRR stage 2 tune was the quick shifter as well. I agree, BMW already had a great quick shifter, but now it feels like the PDK from a Porsche 911. So fast and smooth it might as well be telepathic.
In stock form the shifter in low speeds is ok... but when you give it gas it is clunky as in i can shift better manually than the quick shifter in stock form...
About time you got her back out!! 😛 I am jealous! Nothing but cold and rainy here on any day I am not working! WHen you did the Stage 2 did you move the rev limiter or did you leave it at factory?? I worry that BMW will blast a warranty claim if you popped 14.5k no matter how well you have cared for the bike is all. I am currently stage 1, full exhaust as far as performance...I worry about swapping the air filter and really dont need the extra few ponies, but the even nicer shifting sounds nice....
Didn’t touch the limiter. It’s at 15.1 on these so definitely didn’t feel the need to mess with it, but I didn’t change it on the R either from 14.5. Thats what my dealer told me as well about warranty is just don’t touch the limiter. The bike seemed a lot happier once it got the filter with the full exhaust. I’m with you though it’s plenty fast in any form.

Spot on man. You just think “shift” and it does it
If you add a strain gauge shifter on top of the BT Moto tune each shift becomes a special event. Sooooo crispy!
