This is the extended interview with Andreas Müller from 2016 from the film Zero & One. This is the second one I recorded. For context I was after an Open Secret Meeting. I am also working on another that I shot around the same time with Andreas that I never used. It was the first one I did with Andreas. I never used it because it was slightly blurred but in hindsight, it is pretty good..

I can completely relate to Frank in this video. The sense of emergency, hopelessness and pain is almost impossible to bear at times and yet there is no escaping. Nice to see Frank now in interviews. Thanks for the video!

There is some lucidity to the video game analogy, and I think thats what draws people to them in the first place. The artificial sense of danger, exploration and possibility of death, when that concept has been nearly extinguished from ordinary existence. What we truly want is the REAL danger of death, we’re just too scared to admit it.. so the video game can never ultimately satisfy.
Non duality is that very real danger, not of physical death, but of ego death. For those of us adventurous enough to seek and accept it, that game is unfolding before us at this very moment.

A simulation sounds like "an understanding"... or like something prior 'to this' or apart from this is simulating 'what is', sounds like cause and effect 'making it happen' (sounds like The matrix movie trying to make sense of what is). So: no, I wouldn't call it a simulation.
I robbed a bank once,but I wasn't there so I didn't get caught.
According to conventional scientific understanding there is and outside world which is comming in contact with the senses then transfered to activity in the brain which somhow gives us experience of reality. So when we see a picture of the world we see an image which our brain creates, so this picture is obviously not separeted from us because we create it. So it it actually strange that we feel separete from an image that we create.
Maybe , what Andreas and others reporting is this brain image without this strange sense of someone at the senter. So we are left of just the image which came from nothing and is real and unreal. But if this is just an image and represent something else, so it does comes from brain activity, which resposes to a real outside world.

Many years ago I had a sudden experience of literally sensing everything as being the inside of my brain. It was a bit strange and a slightly wierd feeling. But, alas, it was still 'me' experiencing it. Sorry about that.

You did well in that Frank, could see that the old brain was partially vaporised... I would of phased out after a couple of minutes..... doesn't help that you are not recognised as being real.

That's not an intelligent criticism. It's a very intellectually lazy way to dismiss what Andreas is talking about. If the motivation was money, I would have thought that there would be some kind of system or method on offer... Or at least a concept of some kind which would offer some edification for all of those desperate seekers who would no doubt sell everything they own to know how to be enlightened. But, I don't hear one. Do you? I think someone like Tolle or even Spira is far more astute as to how one can profit from the seeking game. I don't doubt that Andreas and some other speakers earn some money from what they do, but, we all have to earn money. I would have also thought that travelling around the world to do talks would cost a great deal, again, doesn't make good business sense. I think there are plenty of other games to make money. I can't see how telling people that they cannot do anything to find what their looking for is prudent, either financially or personally.
🕉There are apparent non-duality speakers in the world - that apparently appear to be visibly observable in mirrors as humanly corporeal temporally temporary body-mind complexes / action figures - observably visible in mirrors for an impermanently indeterminate duration "in" space and time - and not "of" space and time - even though we are far more than those projected images observably visible in mirrors - for an impermanent duration "in" space and time and not "of" space and time for no-body - other than seemingly mingling with All That Is & All That Is Not Empty Fullness as the contextual content - as what apparently appears to arise - as though every-thing is no-thing-ing and no-thing is every-thing-ing - for no apparent reason, meaning, and purpose - other than of its own accord and volition.
🕉And yet, non-duality speakers are seemingly increasing in greater numbers than ever before as a seemingly new resurgence of the "Advaita Movement" that had once been strongly prevalent and mainly local to India in the "Ancient of Days" thousands of years ago, when the Bhagavad-Gita and Upanishads were seemingly introduced into this dream-like reality frame as the story of Earth. >

For one, I like the interviews. They are more like having a chat and really expressing all the hope and frustration that we all feel trying to approach this @$#*
