So... I get wanting to have multiple sources of income. Problem is, I've worked with people who have secret second and third jobs. They've been found out because they can't even do 1 job properly and are very bad at being discrete.
I don't think someone should be let go just for *having a second or even third job". But I've also had to pick up the slack for people that think they can manage all the work when they're actually terrible at it.

I’m still stunned at these work complaint videos people coming up with all this legal advice and tips on how to deal with employers. I had one technique that always worked, if your boss asks something reasonable and is within your responsibilities say “yes, Boss I’ll get right on it.” And do it. If your boss asks you to do something unreasonable and outside of your responsibilities say “yes Boss, I’ll get right on it.” But don’t do it. If your boss confronts you just say “oh gee I don’t remember, sorry boss.”
Your boss will eventually think you are too stupid to figure out how to work late or do extra OR will fire you and you get all the benefits because when you get your reason for dismissal it will be unlawful. My last boss was great, he asked me to do extra stuff sometimes as a rare absolute last resort but because he was mostly reasonable I was like suuuuuure.

The average wages for anyone under I believe 32 years old are under the expected cost of living for people under 32.
Older people get paid more often, and they have less expenses often.
This is because the Boomers and Gen X have intentionally raised prices on expenses that are essential and lowered wages, as well as depreciated the dollars value in an effort to maximize their former wealth.
It's currently in a state of collapsing and being held afloat by government spending to feign economic strength.

The problem is that some employers think they are entitled to earn their profits by exploiting the labor of others with low wages. I just left an employer who refused to pay me what I asked for. I have an interview next week for a job that pays 25% higher wage then the job I just left.
