These are strangely amazing to have. If they could be about 10% louder I'd have no real complaints. I love wearing them during work with the blue lens filter, and the ability to have some music and still hear everything, and tossing in the shades for going out on a walk.
I just picked these up, and I found that cupping your ears with them on provides insanely great sound. Obviously, no one is going to walk around holding their frames to their ears, but It's something to try situationally.
@@josesilva6366 they can in a quiet setting, but wearing these to shoot pool, or going to a bar, or really anywhere there's some form of noise, no one will be the wiser.
The best part about these HAS TO BE the fact that they’re often on sale for $60 now, making them a no brainer over other smart glasses since the only thing for that price you find nowadays are strange Amazon listings. For $60 these are an absolute steal. For the $200 they usually cost, I’d rather just save up for the Bose Frames, Ray-Ban’s Stories, Amazon Echo Frames, or the Ampere Dusk
I see why you don't answer a lot of comments. Their questions are answered in your video. Yes they can be used as regular glasses. The company he ordered lenses from was called Lensable. With the coupon he paid $100.00 for his prescription lenses.
Just go my pair today. I enjoyed your video and review. I only wish that Razer would have included an alternative way to turn off the glasses. I was going to use these at the office for the blue light filtering, and then when on break, listen to some tunes. Unfortunately, it seems the glasses will remain on all the time, which would waste the battery too soon. It would have been nice to have that on/off option aside from just closing the arms. Still, they seem like an awesome pair of glasses. I got the combo that came with the sunglass lenses as well. We'll see how it goes. Cheers!
Actually if you turn your Bluetooth off on your phone and keep the glasses on your face or don't close them they turn off automatically after awhile and you can keep them on. Them when you want to use them just close and open them again with your Bluetooth on
Yup. Glasses, buds, and watches are the worst expensive things to buy because of that. Always check how hard it is to replace these batteries before getting them, if you have a technical background.
I think this are not meant to be used in office environment but more for gaming and individual pleasures for listening to music and gaming primarily. These are really amazing to have.
Years later at 40 dollars on amazon, these make a whole lot of sense. A wireless charging case like the ray bans would have been nice and gotten around the y cable headache, and a matte frame would have been nice, but at 40 dollars, can't complain too much, especially since there are low cost wireless charging cases available aftermarket now
These are hands down the best $20 frames I copped and I put my own prescription lenses in myself. I got lucky they were the same size. Just set your iPhone to accept hey siri hands free and you good to go.
I might have said it on another one of your videos but i wish the focals by north were still around. Those were interesting. Wonder what google will do with them.

imagine these glasses with your prescription, and your phone using razer kishi, and Geforce NOW 0.0 honestly, i would probably wear my contacts and just throw the tinted lenses and use them as sunglasses. or possible transition lenses and use them as both glasses, and sunglasses (if that's possible)
Compared to the Bose Alto, which would you prefer audio quality wise? I just got the Bose and waiting for it to come back with my prescriptions on. My brother wants one too but now I'm not sure if I should get him another Bose or try the Razer. Use case - mostly calls and occasional listening to music while walking to and from work.
@@langrock74 I ended up getting the Razer and the quality is just behind. Bose is way better including customer service. The razer only lasted 2 months before it broke and it's been 5 months and they still haven't honored the warranty! I'm sticking with Bose.

Wishing they would work for at least 8 hours for work. Using them and removing to charge doesn’t make me want to purchase. Might as well continue using Beats Pro for audio and prescription glasses.
I believe the 5 hr thing is for listening at 60%+ volume. Lots of reviewers say they're good for a full work day at lower volumes or occasional audio use.
Wondering about accessibility for those who are deaf or hard of hearing - do these have subtitle functionality? As someone with auditory processing disorder, I would love to try these with subtitles so that I can read what people say. It would literally be the only thing I use from it lol.
