Ruth I admire your drive and wish you wonderful 2023 - thank you for adding your pain cave episode and listening to your viewers requests. The area you live is a dream to train in.

Damn Ruth, an endless pool? That's next level! Endless pool is a dream, but these things are so damn expensive

Yeh thankfully my other half had one. I didn’t need to buy one! As I say on the video - very lucky

That is a really cool painting next to your endless pool. The treadmill is good for keeping one speed and I aswell hate the treadmill. Do you make funny faces in the pool when swimming?

Thanks. Wish my neighborhood looked like yours! Always be outside. Live on Long Island, to many cars to be safe outside 🥴

Cycling on out-east Long Island used to be really nice, especially on the north coast which was blessed with endless short, but punchy climbs.
I moved to FL many years ago (similar situation here, they are building this state out like crazy) and was recently looking at satellite view of Long Island and am amazed how much it changed - especially Nassau County. Its just wall to wall new housing developments, which themselves are just house to house packed with very little green space between houses. I mean, Nassau was bad before (15 years ago), but now it is just bonkers. I certainly would not ride on the roads there.
Suffolk County is getting packed out with new developments, but it at least somewhat resembles what it was a decade ago. Still bike rideable with a lot of green space, especially once you get eastward of the forks.

SWIMMING: Former Pro Heather Gollnick (Heather must be in her 50's now) learned to competitive swim for triathlon in the Endless Pool. RUNNING: Last year's under 20 world champion (Roisin Willis, just turned 18 at the time) in the 800m run & in the 4 x 400m relay did a huge amount of training (up to 90% especially in the winter in Wisconsin where she was in High School) on the Lightspeed Lift (the LEVER is similar & I have heard they pay a licensing fee to Lightspeed). I have a Lightspeed & used it to get over plantar fasciitis & use it now to keep the injuries away & help me absorb the miles. Roisin's (Row-sheen's) success shows one can train a lot using suspended running & still be fast. Your annual income video puts reality back into the Pro Life.
