I like Snake Man's theme first, because it's awesome, all the way through. Spark Man's theme comes in second, for me, because it has to lead up to the awesome part.
This made me laugh out loud; where I come from, the only snakes that appear in the wild are adders and grass snakes, so this is almost more like the theme of a small snake making a hasty retreat when it's spotted by some family dog. I mean, adders are venomous, but they only ever bite as a last resort, and their venom is hard-pressed to kill adults.
I cant help but notice in this comments section (and pretty much every where) that people are over praising Megaman 2. While Megaman 2 is a good game, its really not the stand out title in the series. Actually it didn't do that much new from the first game with the exception of being the first to include rideables and 8 bosses. The music in 2 is sub par at best, there are far better in the series especially Megaman 3 and 10's soundtracks. Megaman 2 gets so much attention because of TH-cam, and ends up being that game that(lets be honest here) that the viewers have played one stage and ditched. They only nod their heads and agree that its the best because someone popular says it is. Even though I come off as bias because my favorite game of all time is Megaman 3, I like to note that I have a mostly equal respect for the series but Megaman 2 just got so much attention that I feel it had to be addressed. By all means Megaman 2 is a good game, and everyone should be playing it to completion, but there are far better games in the series and for them to all be shot down by someone saying "PFFFFT MEGAMAN 2 IS BEST GAIM EVAR IN SERIES" is completely rude. That concludes my little mini rant and I hope you all have a good time!
That's where I disagree. As a game I liked Megaman 2 pretty well. It had good level design and music that I listen to for fun. That being said I liked Megaman 3 more because it was generally more enjoyable. It also has some awesome music to top it off (no pun intended). Disagreed. Mega Man 2 music is great, but really overrated. Mega Man 3 music is the best of the series, and one of the best soundtracks from the NES. Every single track is memorable, no matter which. (But some tracks of MM4 and MM6 are pretty close, tho.)
