    I'm so glad you accurately demonstrated the extra bag hook on the back of the luggage. Some reviewers did not know it was supposed to loop and hook back in. Thanks for the helpful review.

    Hi Min. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this review. I was going on my first business trip (and first flight in over a decade) and sought out a lot of videos for a carryon bag. It was overwhelming. But I took your advise and bought this case and it was perfect. A step up from my previous carry-on. It’s light, durable, the wheels are a joy, and best of all was the price. I think you showing off your old, beaten up bag, is what made me trust your opinion over other reviews, but you also did a great job just explaining the benefits of the suitcase. Can’t thank you enough.

    Hey Min!
    Thanks for sharing this review with us. Happy Holidays! Would you still recommend Beis over, Monos, Away, Level 8, Travel Pro or other brands we should know about?? Reason I plan spending around this $$$ is because of the "lifetime" warranty. I hope there is no issues with fixes
    If I purchase the Beis Carry-on, How does it compare for international travel for their limits?
    Appreciate the help!

    • @minhsao
      @minhsao  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes I do still really like BEIS because of the expansion!!! It is great but on my international travels to be able to pack some extra stuff back on last travel leg. The beis’ handle got to be the smoothest I’ve ever used.. and it continue to be that case so far. however.. I don’t know what it is but the level 8 wheels are super smooth.. don’t get me wrong the beis is also smooth but you can see it for yourself in my level8 videos. So my recommendation as of today is you would not go wrong with Beis or Level8. I lean more to Beis because of the expansion … if I don’t need that then I would consider level 8 …. Good luck and happy holidays!

    3:45 I'm not a fan of the expandable bit. I think it could be a weak point of failure, especially for luggage going in the hold. Baggage handlers tend to throw things around. 4:27 I am wondering how useful the weight indicator is? 50 Lbs (23kg) is much greater than the allowed weight for most cabin baggage unless you're flying with an airline like British Airways or Delta. Even for checked luggage, not all airlines are 23kg some are less, and some are more. I think it would be great if luggage companies could incorporate a manual or digital scale into the luggage to give a better indicator. It is good to see that more and more airports now have weighing machines so you can make sure you are below the limit but it is better to know before you set off as you don't really want to be rearranging your luggage in front of everyone. The best thing about the Beis luggage for me is that they seem to offer a nice range of colours compared to other luggage companies. The colours seem to be better.

    You've understated some of the dimensions and capacity, This bag will not be accepted as a carry-on by many international airlines; it's simply too big. It also is significantly heavier than its main competitors, which is important for a carry-on. When you're using the carrying handles (vs rolling with the telescopic handle) it feels unbalanced. It's a high quality bag with many great features, but just not as a carry-on.

    Every review from all the reviewers seem to use the same script: tough case, light weight, smooth wheels, smooth zipper, compression interior side, zipper interior side. The world is a smaller place....these reviews are good for US domestic purposes as they fail to mention this one important fact. Does it meet international carry -on requirements? Most of them including this one do not. Depending on the airline much of the time you may sneak it pass the screeners but you are taking a risk (Air France especially) and at one point you will get caught. This is especially bad if you were convinced to purchase the bag based on a review by someone that did not clarify this. Also, if it is an expandable bag, even if it squeezes by the size screener, will not be acceptable on the return thrip. This expansion is also a target for the screeners as they can tell from a distance that the bag has a higher potential of being oversize. Experienced travelers do not use an expansion carry-on; they use a large size personal bag that is still within the size limit of a personal bag. With a legal sized carry on and a legal size personal item you can carry a lot of stuff and only weight is a concern. Many bags have an indicator in the handle when the bag is 50 pounds. This is ridiculous as there is no international airline that allows a 50 pound carry on. Also, 50 pounds in a carry on is very difficult to do with normal travel clothes etc., so this feature is almost worthless. All of you reviewers need to clarify if the bag is suitable for international carry-on since it is a "review" and the audiance may not travel only in the US.

      This weirdo spams every monos comment on TH-cam. You should ban him, not heart him.

    I’m so thankful for your review! You are the only person that showed how to use the bag hook and you are the only person who packs leaving extra space. Anytime I watch a video, people stuff their luggage and I always ask: so you went to Italy and you didn’t back souvenirs? You didn’t buy yourself something?
    I mean you don’t that great but I when I travel I treat myself and my family. 😅🫶🏾 thank you!
