The last two videos were epic! Then to learn all of that was done in one day, OMG! What a brother hood you have! Beyond that the videography was superb. Camera angles were awesome! As for that gravity thing? Use it or loose it! You are definitely using it!😂 Thanks for sharing!
Getting old does suck, but hard physical labor will help you feel younger too. Most people your age can’t work like you. Heck most people my age can’t work like you. Chris you inspire me to keep moving and give me hope that I will be able to still work that hard after I retire.
That last scene was hilarious! Reminds me of my long gone grandfather. Father and I did some firewood back my childhood home and he came there with walking stick and no matter what we said, he wanted to help. So we gave him a chair and he gave us some firewood to pile. Tough man. He was 5 years in a war and didn´t talk much. But if he wanted to do something, there was no chance to stop him. Warm memories about him and high respect. Respect also for You Chris, keep up the good work!
You are right about getting old, Chris! However, keeping moving as Dick says in his videos helps! You hvae a fantastic team! Lot of work getting done efficiently and quickly!
Hey there guys! Another awesome job getting the rest of wood there at the other tree job! Nice load there for sure!! Really enjoyed the video today!! See you tomorrow! Andrew from NB :)
Great job guys.. i am only 42 and every now and then i am starting to feel it. For now just get up keep moving and walk it off. Someday won't be able to..
@bertbrei2950 : I have had arthritis in both hands since I was 35 years old.. Firewood has delayed the issue for now. I do have a flair up about once a year. So I can agree it sucks..

@@twobeards6714 I turned 74 in January. A bulging disc and kidney stones have really slowed me down in the last few months. I’m on the heal however and it’s my intention to keep working hard… it’s what I love!
I love the sound of chainsaws in the morning. Keep on cutting. This morning I get to remove an Ash tree back in the woods, and it all has to come out over the stump. And it’s a big one.
Orange Crush and The Mandarin. Gavin, a mandarin is a small orange. You did a great job filming and helping out. Holding the tape measure had to be the best job you ever had. It works on a big gap when you need to push a tree over or NOT have it tip back while finishing the cut on a leaner. Bert is a machinist and has all kinds of tricks.
Great video. Lots of wood. Was suppose to thunder and lightening and rain yesterday. But it didn’t and I didn’t get any wood done. Hopefully today, but suppose to be hot.

How do you know what a log splitter's actual tonnage is vs. manufacturer's spec? (I've asked you previously but go no answer.)
Good Afternoon, Mr.Matt...
The simple answer is Force=Pressure X Area.
I do not know exactly but I am sure there is a way to test it.

Awesome! Well Dun!
Thanks!

No, not going to happen.

Hi could you tell me between a 372xp and à 572 xp what you prefer please
372 if you know how to tune a saw otherwise the 572 is auto tune.
For me 572 because the auto tune just works and I like newer stuff. But the 372 is a great saw.

In 45 years it is the first time that I have seen a crosscutter try🤣🤣 to put a wedge in back to front
It works on a big gap when you need to push a tree over or NOT have it tip back while finishing the cut on a leaner. Bert is a machinist and has all kinds of tricks.
"It's only dumb if it doesn't work"
However, don't think that wedge was doing much of anything other than getting hammered 🤣
Growing older is a privilege many are denied. The alternative to getting older isnt good.
I agree with that 100%!!!
Ash bore picnic. You can see it under the bark on the trunk.
yup!
good day for wood work
Yes it was! Thanks!

That is to young!
Great video. Lots of wood. Was suppose to thunder and lightening and rain yesterday. But it didn’t and I didn’t get any wood done. Hopefully today, but suppose to be hot.

You guys should start your own tree service company. And then sell the wood big money man.
Maybe some day??
@@InTheWoodyard And you have plenty of land to bring the wood to.

That shed needs a bigger opening..
And taller, at least two feet taller, with a roof vent twirler thingy, and lights wouldn't hurt.
😊😊😊
It works as it is and has for probably 100 years.
can we have a hot tub too?
@InTheWoodyard there is one in shed you want me to set it out back for you to sit in.
