Welcome to one of my favourite games of all time! If you've never heard of Madness Combat before, I implore you to watch the animations by Krinkels. They're really fun, and the game probably will make more sense :)

oh my god it is so weird to see something from my childhood being played by literally one of the few people i ever watch anymore. in other words, this means literally EVERYTHING to me. 🖤🖤

Did everyone skip over how good his voice impressions of the characters were? They were amazing!

I haven't seen Madness in forever, not since I was a little kid sneaking on school computers to watch them on Newgrounds. I didn't know they made a new game either so that says a lot! This so so cool.
I also love your game playthroughs dude. Somehow, no matter how scary or violent they are like Dead Space or Cry of Fear, you make them all so calming. uwu

It's a shame Project Nexus is so small outside of its community. Absolutely amazing game for something made by such a small team!
This game is really good the "Arena" mode is nice :p
I hope they expand the Arena mode more or atleast make a seperate mode which is basically the same but connected to the Campaign :p

@@gameropsperson2877 i know, i played the game and i said "I hope" like maybe they going to add something like that in the future and not "there is" in the way of there is a mode that does that.
Artistically the game is so stunning, big fan of it, though I didn't know it existed until now as I watch it. Thanks for introducing a really wel crafted piece of art man, loved your narration and characer voices, immersive as hell
Seeing you back and playing madness project nexus is like a dream!
When I heard the classic project nexus music in the sleepwalker i instantly got nostalgia overload.
Madness Combat will always remain as my number one childhood.
PN2 seems so awesome, we should be thankful krinkels (and his team too) approach their projects with patience and so much love

This is AMAZING! I use to watch Madness as a kid and it was great! My favourite thing to watch was Xionic Madness. This game looks amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing you of all people play it.

Love the little voices and bits of editing, I was subed before you left for a while but I can't say I watched that much but this ones definitely making me regret it. Also probably gonna go out of my way to play this myself later, the leveling progression for action games is such a fun system
I always liked madness combat for its simplicity in character design and also the violence plays a big part
It's cool to see Batesee play a cult classic since this is a game close to my heart as one of my favorites

this is one hell of a way to stop experiencing a depressive episode. you really know how to make an almost 50 minute video feel just like 12 minutes of pure bliss
I started playing this game in 2018 cause I bought Beta Access. Great game, I've played it recently as well I just miss the Murder Room and Abandoned Outpost. Those 2 were like my favorite maps, and they've sadly been removed.

I'm so glad I backed this project back in 2016. Every step of the game's development made me more and more hype for what was to come. And when I finally remembered that I had access to the beta. I spent a good 50 hours just playing it.

Honestly, the patient isnt worth it. The resist dissy is somewhat noticeable, but the imaginary friend is only useful when starting off, and seems to appear when you need him the least. That, or I'm just unlucky.
