@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Adam so your finding a lot of smaller nuggs. Have you had the Axiom long enough to find out how it does on the bigger gold? Thanks for the great video's!!

Hi, Adam. Yesterday I ordered an Axiom from my northern BC dealer up here in Canada for May 1st delivery. Me and the Queen of Denial are planning a 3 week adventure up the Alaska highway into Alaska and wanted something more reliable than my old White's Surfmaster Dual field PI machine. Probly pick up a Goldmonster 1000 for her to play with. Thanks for the video, looking forward to more Axiom vids. Keep on beepin'.
Hey brother good catch on that small nugget. Really odd that no large rocks off the back of the dry washer. Nice job on getting that smaller gold. I like it, follow the dry washers.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Awesome! Looks like you're killing it with the axiom! I also noticed you flipped the coil around to accommodate where the hotspot is... one of these days I need to get my hands on another one and try it in some of our areas. One thing I definitely liked about the axiom when I used it was the shaft is not completely round, so the coil doesn't spin around on its own. With the 6000 that's always an issue having to stop and straighten the doggone coil!
Yes, it’s a thoughtful design. Unfortunately the wireless headphones don’t have the same high pitch tone the detector makes, so I’m just using my wired headphones. Other than that, it’s been a great experience.
Its been working for me, and it finds small gold. They have a lite package for 3 grand I think ... no headphones, one coil , just the basics but it works out of the box.
@ yeah I got the axiom lite along with a 16 inch mono coil. 2500 bucks isn’t bad at all for a detector that was 4000 a year ago. I’m hoping it’s a big upgrade from my gold monster. Will you be at the vulture city gold days?
@@TaylorPhase You need both detectors. I wouldnt say one is an upgrade , rather than a neccessity if you want to be prepared for any situation. You scored ! Thats a hell of a deal for a modern light weight Ultra Pulse Induction machine. Doubt I will be there but you never know

Nice gold again with the axiom! Also your coil is on upside down. Look at the lettering on it. The most sensitive part of the mono coil is right under where Garrett is imprinted on the coil. Best of luck to you sir
HA HA HA . I mounted it upside down because I found that the most sensitive part was on the back side of the coil. Check out my last video , and thank you for being very observant !
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK oh I see thats interesting. I checked my coil too and found the best area was near the front edge. Goes to show that every coil can be different
Very cool , if I had the axiom and a 5000 I would almost just use the 5000 for my large deep gold go to with a 17x13 evolution coil I've seen it almost comparable to a 7000 at depth. Darn it Adam I maybe ordering an axiom now thanks 🤦♂️😂
A 17x13 is a pretty large coil Andy. You may find it heavy and cumbersome. An 11 inch round coil is a fantastic all arounder. Keep one bigger coil for patches. That axiom is pretty impressive on small pieces, and thats how most of us gauge detectors nowadays. Sorry for making you want to spend money 🤣
I wanna go with you and learn so badly. I'm in phoenix and I have Thur Friday and Saturday off weekly. I have a gold monster 1000 and have never found gold yet.
Well that comparison is not going to happen, as the 3000 is gone. All I can tell you is that the GP3K can find gold very well, but these modern PI`s are light weight, easy to use, find gold well, and still under warranty The choice is yours.
Were you finding those small ones on sensitivity 3? I've been running mine maxed out and it really is very noisy but have learned to listen around the noise for the most part. I've been pretty impressed by how small of gold I've been finding with it. Awesome video 👍
Yes, it was on 3 the whole time. I tested nuggets in a higher sensitivity, but the signal response didnt seem much better so I backed it down. I may bump it up to 4 in future trips or in places where the EMI isnt so bad
I live in FL, I've been out to AZ twice to metal detect over the past 15 years and I really enjoyed it, I want to go again soon. Here I dive on the old Spanish shipwrecks and i find gold and silver coins and other treasures and ive found lots of cool stuff over the years but something about hiking the desert really appeals to me. I'm a member of GPAA but want to find different places to go. Can you recommend a local club that has some good claims to MD on?
No, not a chance. Those are heavily rounded magnetite rocks that used to be in a river setting. Thank you so much for stopping by and watching the video.
I installed the coil backwards deliberately. It seemed more sensitive in the middle of the back, so I thought i`d try it the other way. Thank you for the comment and stopping by !
Just topped a hill and checked my phone. Guess who popped up? I was just working a wash and got 3 within 3 feet, probably 1.5 gr between them. Couldn't find another one! 🤔 🤷♂️ I don't think it's ever been hit, WTH? That's gold. Now I'll have to go clear to the bottom and hit it again! I'm starting to like that axiom.
