Man that was deep. Putting that part of the fight where Gohan is so weak he can't use any ki or skills. You really feel just how powerless a Saiyan is when they are at their brink. That made me tear up a tiny bit.

Pretty much yeah. Saiyans gets stronger when they experience a near death so since he's a half saiyan he gained stronger and we even saw the androids confused when we saw his power unleashed so yeah Gohans the goat
@@ChaotixHiro Gohan did go toe-to-toe with Goku in God Blue. Even if Goku was holding back, Gohan forced him to use Kio-Ken. I don't even think that was Gohan's full power. After all Vegeta did say that Gohan had the potential to surpass them both.
I hope they do Gohan some justice and make him the main character of the new Dragon Ball Super : Superhero movie.

This dlc probably had the hardest missions because of the fact they jump you and have so much super armor
Yeah i literally spent 2 hours trying to beat the final fight and i could only get 17 to 60%
@@brianharvey2847 yeah but when i played the dlc i figured out the trick was to use the healade they gave you from training, and focus on the one thats actually doing attacks

This DLC gave future Gohan the redemption he deserved. The movie just shows him effortlessly getting slaughtered, whereas this scene shows him putting up a fight until his last breath, even somehow mustering up one final kamehameha when he had no energy whatsoever. Shows that he is a true warrior that would do anything protect those he cares about just like his dad (and by that I mean Goku not piccolo lol).
Gohans rage turned into trunks rage pretty quickly if ya know what I mean :>

If King Yemma could send Goku back to fight in a tournament, surely he could have let him and Vegeta come back to help Gohan with the androids, or at least trained Gohan and Trunks to Mystic/Ultimate form and SSJ2

In my opinon, after losing an arm and getting a Zenkai, Gohan could possibly defeat 18 alone at her full power, albeit at the end of it he would be completely out of power. It'd be a very close fight. I don't see him winning against 17.

Majin Vegeta roaming from Majin Buu arc is about to commit suicide now.
This DLC does a really good job of being subtle, it takes the time to slow down and let these characters talk to one another and it really makes them feel much more fleshed out.
Future Gohan almost winning but then being ganged up and having one less arm feels infinitely better story telling than just being completely outclassed.

Looking back at this the Androids are weak for teaming up against him they wasn’t strong enough individually to take on Gohan had trunks been a super Saiyan and half capable of fighting they could of destroyed the androids as trunks could of kept one of them distracted for gohan to kill both

Trunks stated that the androids in his time were way way way weaker than the ones in the z fighters time.

after revisiting the future trunks ark, now revisit how trunks felt seeing Gohan when he traveled to the past. it didn't go too deep, but those were powerful moments. that and training with his father!

This saga was such a good one in the anime and the game it really changed up the atmosphere of DB for that saga it went from the fun colorful world of DBZ to a more serious and saddening story and it really painted a picture on how saiyans aren't always these insanely powerful beings that can overcome everything while also painting a picture on how powerful the saiyan emotions can be in Trunks case
